“Minor Injuries Unit / Urgent Care Nurse I had to visit today for stitches in my arm and the lovely nurse Mary, who helped me, made my necessary visit easy and pain free! I've had numerous injections, operations, cuts, stitches etc. Mary was gentle, kind and has an amazing sense of humour taking all the trauma out of my visit. Thank you nurse Mary and all the other staff at this minor injuries unit. Ive had to visit multiple times with my son as well and I don't know where we'd go without it! “Really lovely place with so much character. An amazing Sunday roast dinner was had. The meat was succulent, tender and full of flavour. The veg was cooked to perfection. Super tasty Yorkshire puds and gravy. We shared a super serving of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. Sat next to a roaring fire. Bliss. Highly recommend this place 100%.”

“Monday lunch for our small walking group. A lovely welcome from managers Alice and Zoe, and a nice comfortable atmosphere with open fire. The Cock Inn is now under new management and working hard to revive this lovely old pub. Monday/Tuesday lunch menu is not extensive, but excellent quality and “just right” in portion size. “From the atmosphere, to the service and staff everything was nothing short of amazing. All the food was absolutelly amazing but the Korean fried chicken burger was the star of the show. The burger was an explosion of flavors and textures. The crispy chicken was coated in a sweet and spicy sauce topped with crunchy slaw and creamy mayo, it was one of the best burgers I had in years. Compliments to everyone. I will definitely be back.”

“A lovely friendly pub. Very popular with the locals of Croxley Green but you’re made to feel very welcome on arrival. Seating outside front garden & also out the back garden which is nice, but over looks the car park. The car park can get full at peak times but not normally a problem to find somewhere local to park. Dogs are allowed both inside & outside and on the few occasions we have visited there has always been many dogs here. The vibe seems really chill & relaxed. Food is good, I always go for the superfood salad as it’s simply the most amazing thing which sounds strange for a salad but it’s amazing!”

“Rooms were great. Super comfortable, working air-conditioning, extra tea and coffee was a plus. Late check out was a pleasant surprise. I believe we had a newer member of staff greet us and got the location of the room a little confused, but cheerful, helpful and friendly demeanor. Location is great. Easy to get to, close to some great pubs and restaurants. Easy onward travel to London.”
