“Back in Woking visiting my friends after moving to the coast and went to Eastern Taste (my old local) WOW, what an improvement! The restaurant has been refurbished and the food was absolutely delicious, served on lovely hot new crockery. All 4 of us had something different and not a complaint/grumble about any of it.”

Even before the big day, the team were always just a text away, letting us make amendments to the menu as we wished and listening to all our wishes. They even prepared the wedding cake! On the day itself everything went perfectly - obviously the food was amazing but the service was also excellent and it made our day even more special! We loved every moment at Gunpowder and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you”

“We had a great time at this Nepali restaurant. The parking right outside made it easy to get in. The food was delicious and had real Nepali flavors, all for a good price. The staff were nice, and the service was excellent. We especially recommend the lamb with bone curry; it was very tasty. Overall, it's a wonderful place for a nice meal would definitely recommend!”

“1st visit to this lovely Indian restaurant. The food was amazing. For starters, we had garlic mushrooms and vegetable samosa. For the main, I had the garlic lamb curry, and my partner had a vegetable curry and rice. Both were very tasty. The staff we very friendly but sadly the restaurant is closing on 19th May, they will still be offering takeaway and a delivery service but if you can support a local restaurant YOU MUST try this one. I will definitely be having a takeaway from them in the future. I wish them well, and good luck in the future!!”

“This is the eat-in to have. Food is always nice. Fresh and a lot of flavour. Always arrives hot and fast. You can call up and ask any questions about new dishes that you would like to try. They will always do there best to explain what it is and what it has in it. The people who work there are super friendly very polite nothing to much for them.”
