“I started looking for a new kitchen back in autumn, and it wasn’t finished until midsummer the following year — a timeline that had me wondering if I’d wandered into an episode of Midsomer Murders. There were a couple of walls being knocked down and a bathroom fit out being completed as well, thankfully, no mysterious disappearances… just the arrival of a stunning kitchen which was well worth the wait. The final product is amazing with lots of character fitting perfectly with the house and the original vision. We went with an Ashley Ann shaker-style design, and it really does look the part — solid build, classic lines, and a lovely dual colour scheme that gives the space real depth and charm. It’s both modern and timeless — exactly what we were after. BCK were excellent right from the start. The pre-sales advice was clear, transparent and honest, and we felt supported the whole way through. The planning meetings were great and detailed, so good I thought I was running the showroom at one stage. Communication was strong — no black holes (even if the draw fronts felt like they were coming via Uranus at one point). Special mention to the excellent fitting team, who came in towards the end and helped bring everything together with care, professionalism, cricket chat and Oasis riffs. They really made the difference in those final stages. All in all, a solid gold five stars. Yes, there were lots of questions, but the finished result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that’s completely transformed our home. “Brilliant experience with RDO. Spotted company online and placed order for wine cooler late Bank Holiday Monday. Received a call the next morning to confirm order and delivery on Wednesday. Goods received by 10.00 am the next morning. Unfortunately the wine cooler did not work so I called their customer support line. After working through some potential fixes together a new cooler was ordered. New cooler received and other returned by 8.00 am the next morning. “Our kitchen project with Harvey Jones Chislehurst has just completed and we are delighted with the finished product. We worked with Amy who was extremely helpful and responsive throughout and clearly knew her stuff. We originally thought the room was going to be a challenge to install a kitchen in, and we had never been through this process before, but the patience and professionalism shown by the team at Harvey Jones has been excellent throughout. Everything has been so carefully and thoughtfully designed from the quality of the cabinetry to the beautiful paintwork and the end result is stunning. Amy also liaised with our builders directly and did many more site visits than we ever expected - she truly showed she cared. I can't comment on the long term life of the kitchen as it's only just finished but there is a 10 year guarantee so that gives me peace of mind. The workmen were also excellent throughout (old school types who have years of experience) so I'd be surprised if there are any issues. If you're looking for a high quality finish that's built to last, excellent customer service and peace of mind, then you really can't go wrong with Harvey Jones. A note on prices, they are not the lower end but nor are they anywhere near the highest. We also took advantage of a sale discount and a 12 month no payment plan at 0% interest, so the options are there. We did speak to other companies but their service was terrible hence why we looked elsewhere, and I'm glad we did!”
