“I had a meal here with my family, we have been here before but I am reviewing our latest visit. We had wonderful tasting food, great service, at a reasonable price. We had Tikka masala, chicken Pasanda, mushroom Bhaji and mushroom rice, there were other dishes in our party, but we all agreed that the food was hot and very tasty. We had an issue with the draft beer, but the staff changed it for bottled beer with no problem. A great little restaurant.”

“Visited for the first time whilst visiting the area for the Hampton Court flower show. Very clean restaurant with a relaxing vibe. Helpful and friendly waiter who also held the door open for us when we left. Fresh, tasty and flavoursome food- perfect sized portions. I couldn’t decide between a 4 star or 5 star review, it would actually be a 4.5 star review if that was possible. As the fried rice with chicken was the best I’ve ever had I finally decided on a 5 star review. Worth a visit if you are in the area.”

“A beautifully decorated Turkish restaurant in the heart of Harrow shopping centre. Easy ti get to by public transport and plenty of car park available. Service is good, food is yummy and staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are decent but more pricey than other Turkish restaurants. Plenty of seating space and a nice place to celebrate a special day or event.”

“We had a table booked for my husband’s birthday and the food so was good that for sure we will return! We ordered some naan bread and samosas and we’ve also been given some popadoms too on the house. As mains we went for butter chicken , tikka masala, king prawn Buna and my youngest had nuggets and chips. Really good service and food!”

“Ksara is a great place with delicious food and very friendly service. We love the kibbeh, mixed grill platter (very tender meat) and foul medemas. The price is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. You also get free Lebanese dessert afterwards. It's one of our regular go to restaurants in Northfields.”

“Ate here about a week ago on a Monday night, hardly anyone there. I’m not huge on Greek typically but wow I loved the mousakka and the desserts here. Vibe is very cozy and charming, has a household feel to it. The owners are a super lovely people who patiently waited while the rest of my guests from out of town showed up an hour late and held the restaurant open for an hour after close. Planning on my bringing my parents in a month or so.”

“What a lovely experience, visited Jaflong after reading the raving reviews with my family. So glad we came, the staff were amazing and so friendly! There were so informative, and helpful. The house dishes and the king prawn Lajawab were amazing, not forgetting onion bhajis, it was exquisite.”

“I'm (being Indian) usually not a big fan of eating Indian food at restaurants in the UK, but yesterday, we were starving in the late afternoon and decided to try a new place. We went to Yaadein Authentic Indian Restaurant in Stoneleigh, Epsom , and I was impressed! The lamb chops (not in the picture) and Shish kebab were so soft—better than what I’ve had at most restaurants. I also ordered a thali, and it was just as delicious. Highly recommend checking it out !”

“A Portuguese cafe was not the most obvious choice for my first English breakfast in London for 5 years, but it was perfect. A huge plate of good quality ingredients (proper sausages, bacon etc) washed down by an ocean of tea. All for less than a tenner! Fast and friendly staff too and they clearly have a regular clientele. Deservedly so.”

“Babuji, or father in English, is a lovely restaurant situated on the high street of Kentish Town and serves up an array of Indian dishes, enveloped with what feels like homely love as their intent would be. This place encourages customers to eat with their hands, following cultural customs and even going as far as providing instructions with how to do so - but only if you wish to. I love restaurants that incorporate their backstory and they did exactly that with their creative and somewhat witty menu. I went for the bangla bhuna with garlic & coriander naan, masala dossa and mango lassi. Naan could be stronger in garlic taste, but delivered a slight crispy crunch and it was mostly soft. The curry was delicious, well flavoured and seasoned, as well as delivering a bearable kick. Dossa was lovely and crisp. The gunpowder paste was what escalated the spice levels as I progressed through the meal. Mango lassi delivered a good balance of the yoghurt and mango taste with the mango tasting authentic. Very smooth and creamy. A drink that I always default in ordering whenever I’m eating at a south Asian restaurant. It wasn’t busy when I went on a Tuesday afternoon. Food does take a while to arrive, so that should be noted. But the food didn’t disappoint. The guy who was on the floor was lovely and welcoming and seemed passionate about sharing the love of India, which was well articulated within the place with the display of terms on the wall. A local spot that I’d come back to again one day.”

“I recently visited Turpan Uyghur Restaurant - what a hidden gem! The food is authentic, flavorful, and made with care. Highlights were the Laghmen (hand-pulled noodles perfection), Samsa, and Polu. Cozy, welcoming vibe and genuinely delicious. Highly recommend!”

“Kolapata is always the place to go for an authentic Bengali cuisine! The beef bhuna kicchuri and morog pulao was so flavourful alongside the borhani, which really hit the spot. The fuchka was a burst of flavours and I highly recommend trying it!”

“Upon arrival i was quickly seen, I was surrounded by 3 business men on lunch and a family of 5 women with a small child who was running around and noisy. So its quite a mixed environment. I ordered quickly a hot drink with salmon and greens. The food came before my drink, after a few minutes my drink came, bit odd as usually drinks arrive before food. The food and drink was delicious, I asked for the bill, and it did take a long time to get to me, but the waitress did apologise. I was sitting by the window on a sunny day, and just wanted to get out to cool down. I wish the bill came quicker.”
