“Do not be put off by the look of this place, an amazing selection of groceries and fresh meat and chicken available too. There is parking on the road for 20mins which is enough time to get in and out. Organic produce available and exotic fruits too. An excellent alternative to the supermarket”

“On the contrary to some of the other reviews.. Where do I start? I have so many good points to make about this place. I used to go for lunch here with my baby daughter (materinity leave) in 2015 and back then I was so impressed by the freshness, the portions, the cleanliness and Jay (the owner, down to earth and warming service skills). It's always very quiet and clean so this automatically gives you a nice ambience. Fast forward to now, whilst most establishments have gone downhill after covid, Makiyaki went up several levels. They updated the decor (gorgeous), their crockery is very up market and their sauces that are drizzled over the sushi is fantastic. Jay the owner is extremely humble and polite and is a great chef and puts his all into everything his does. Alongside him, his wife also runs the restaurant. She is very efficient and conscientious about every detail. It's nice to see a restaurant go from strength to strength and their dishes are worth every penny. Recommendations are: scallop Volcano, scallop crunch, Gyoza (very fresh), England, Spider and kingston roll. I have lots of other favorites but the new addition is their pancake desert. Wow.. Thank you for always delivering an excellent experience and of course we shall be back.”

“We had catering from Haweli for my son’s 1st birthday party and the food was delicious - everyone enjoyed it! The customer service was brilliant, from discussing our requirements, right up to delivery and set up. The food was piping hot and they set it all up in buffet trays for our guests. “Greg came and saved me from the side of the motorway in the middle of the night, I was very anxious but he was as efficient as he could be in collecting me, and was good to chat to during this stressful time. “Wonderful work done with extra kindness and compassion Everyone at the Drift Bridge Body shop is really professional - as we already knew but not many know they are also caring and kind. Foolishly, I drove my lovely Audi too close onto a kerb and caused the grill to come off, together with its body parts. Meanwhile, I had an accident and got electrocuted which seriously discombobulated me! They heard about it and the repair they did was fantastic and deserves a full 5 star rating BUT they went an extra 10 miles and made my car practically as good as new by proactively giving her an amazing new look, easing out wrinkles and giving her an amazing face scrub, lift and polish. She looks like new now. I was totally amazed to see the work they'd so kindly done and it totally made my week. Thank you guys for all your extra hard work and making me very happy! Chris B x”

“What a wonderful place to find on our last night in London! To our delight, Gazelle is an amazing person with a delightful personality! She was so fun to talk to about her travels and sharing with her our travels. Then there’s the pizza!!!! Oh my, their pizza is so wonderfully tasty. We were two couples and we each ordered a 14” pizza ordered exactly as we wanted. What.a.delight!! Matched with Heinekin, Corona & Pinot Grigio…it was a match we will remember for a very long time! “My dad bought an ankle support , measured the size according to instructions. It didn’t fit. We were allowed to exchange it to a bigger size . Thank you for allowing the exchange. My dad panicked big time , worried that they won’t allow exchange. £18 matters a lot , especially to elderly. Thank you for running a good honest business. We need this in our community.”

“Great Indian curry house in Guildford. They serve excellent Sunday Buffet with good choices to choose from. Samosa and onion bhaji were an excellent choice from their starter options. Madras chicken curry and lamp curry with Naan were my favourites. They do also have vegetarian options and serve basmati rice. Overall an excellent choice for a family dine out for any memorable occasion.”
