We picked this restaurant without looking at the reviews and honestly I can hand on heart say this has got to be the best meal we’ve ever eaten. The food quality was out of the world. It was fresh, well presented, and the flavours were to die for. We had starters, mains and a dessert and genuinely we can’t fault a single thing. The atmosphere was so calming and peaceful and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The chef preparing the food with everything in view was fantastic. We HIGHLY recommend this place and if we didn’t live so far we would be back again in a heart beat.”

What puzzles me though is why the outside area at the rear is not used hardly. A lot of passersby and cyclists often stop but go away as it’s either too busy or there is a lack of sitting. There is quite a bit of room and if new and updated furniture were invested I can see a lot of customers using this area and it would attract new customers especially with bicycles.”

“Amazing building in beautiful grounds with a fabulous lake. Plenty of free parking and good WiFi ,the restaurant and bar are also a nice place to relax. The menu is ok not a huge selection but does have a good selection. The bar only as two draft beers on offer a IPA and Moretti plus bottles are on offer. The rooms with a garden view are away from the main building but are basic but ok. All the staff are friendly and can’t do enough to ensure you have a great stay.”
