“Have been here on several occasions hence the wait to leave a review, and have never been disappointed. You can get all sorts of food, including all day breakfast and at very good prices. I've tried the breakfast and various lunches and the quality is excellent. Very fast service too. Parking is sometimes difficult.”

“Absolutely outstanding customer service. Staff is so friendly and professional. Food is yummy. Clean and homely place despite its not really modern. Staff make sure you have everything you need. Toilet cleaned and disinfected after each customer. Definitely I recommend it.”

“Make a detour from the M4 to London to visit this lovely coffee shop. Great coffee and service. Also v dog friendly. Haven’t tried any of the pies but they all look delicious. Such a great little place and so much nicer than stopping at Reading services or Heston. The owner is consistently friendly and welcoming and I’ve always found somewhere to park in the car park outside”

“Been coming here for years with my family. Lovely spot that too few people know about. Lovely family owned business, properly cooked and properly used ingredients. A strong good quality coffee and the seating is homely.”

“Ewelina and her staff are amazing. Friendly, professional and the coffee is always made to a high standard. Although I don’t live in Datchet, I will happily drive there most days as they treat their customers with genuine warmth. What puzzles me though is why the outside area at the rear is not used hardly. A lot of passersby and cyclists often stop but go away as it’s either too busy or there is a lack of sitting. There is quite a bit of room and if new and updated furniture were invested I can see a lot of customers using this area and it would attract new customers especially with bicycles.”

“Very inviting and lovely friendly atmosphere. Decor was beautiful, newly refurbished after a fire, very uniquely done. Service was excellent and the meat feast pizza was delicious, as was the glass of red wine with it! Would definitely recommend.”

The delivery was fast, fresh and food was absolutely delicious! ..Chicken was juicy and hot, rice had great flavour, I had an unexpected guest , so grill garden saved the day. “Last Friday, we visited Chesnut pub with my friends. We had a great time. The food was served quickly and it was delicious. The hospitality was excellent. We had special signature cocktails and mocktails at the pub. They were so refreshing.”

“I’m really impressed with this pub. The manager really helped me with an issue with my car in the car park and I really appreciate it. The pub has great food and drink and is a lovely venue. Across the road (be careful whilst crossing though) is a field with horses that you can sometimes see too. A great venue for warm pub food and friendly pub”

“My first time at The Black Horse and it was a lovely experience. Staff were attentive and courteous. We all had different dishes which were equally amazing. Great place to eat both inside and out. I’ve already made reservations for two more dates! Highly recommend this place.”

“Visited on Sunday evening, had a lovely meal. The chefs were super friendly and compliments to them as the food was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were flavourful and the meat was tender. Our waitress Tanya was the highlight of our evening, she was very welcoming, polite and attentive and just made the whole experience better. We were well looked after and enjoyed our dinner.
