My hairs very dark brown (almost black) and I wanted to go light ginger. Holly didn’t refuse point blank like I was expecting, she explained it would take a whole day if I wanted it done in one sitting & that’s exactly what we did. Mario was incredibly professional, patient, and gentle—he really took the time to calm him down and make him feel comfortable. You can tell he truly loves and cares about the animals he works with. “A lovely little cafe I came across as being new to the area and on maternity leave. The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful throughout the day! Food & drink, as always, was great too :) Definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone, we’ll be back again soon!”

We had spent the entire day driving and put off eating until the last minute after checking into a terrible hostel in an otherwise nice neighborhood, and this restaurant was the only one that even smelled good while walking by. We had excellent table service, the man poured our waters, delivered leveled beers, served the appetizer sharing his favorite sauce recommendation, our dinner didn’t take long to come out either. Delicious lamb curry, side of rice, roti… unreal, delicious. They even made my food spicier as I wished. They even threw in a nice mint chocolate for our walk home. Love this place, wish I could come back often.”

“Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean!
