“I have been going to Jon’s Hair Again for 35 years and from my first appointment, with John, I knew that not only was I pleased with the styling but also with the friendly atmosphere. Sally, John’s daughter, was only in her teens then but she was a wonder at perming and colouring. For many years now Sue has been “my hairdresser” and knows exactly what suits me and advises me on the many times I’ve wanted to change styles and colours!! I can’t recommend her enough. In the present climate I feel totally safe with all the procedures that they have in place both for the customers safety and, of course, their own.”

“I've known Andy (the proprietor) for 30 years. His work is exemplary and reasonably priced. He managed to fix my 1987 SL300 starting issue without hesitation. Both the cost of labour and parts were great value, and my car was well looked after throughout the process. Great communication and clear invoicing made this a great experience. I'd highly recommend.”

Tracey always listens to what I want in terms of colour, styling, length etc. she’ll also offer advice if I’m undecided, or if she thinks of other options I might not have considered. “By chance I went into this store to look around while waiting for the bus to work. I discovered a most delicious plum jam filled doughnut which didn't make it to the bus. “Wow! Amazed today coming into the five bells It’s been taken over by new owners and they are absolutely lovely! Me and my partner got the bells beef burger each with bacon and cheese bacon was perfectly crispy burger was lovely! Was sooo nice. And we got onion rings too honestly amazing food and such a lovely family pub. Have play slides for the kids a huge garden nicely decorated. Such a warm feeling when walking in we have now booked in for a Sunday roast. And can’t wait to try it, also the house wine is divine and got price! This will now be our ongoing local. X”

“I've been taking my cars and I've had quite a few, to Mark Transport for years. I've had MOTs carried out, servicing and quite recently the brakes on my Focus ST. I always find the communication to be faultless whether it's by email or phone, and clear and concise customer service. Clear indication of price and work, to be carried out and all in an acceptable time scale. Genuine parts used whilst car is under manufacturers warranty if required. Mark Transport is well situated and convenient for public transport and I will continue to use and recommend them.”

“A really lovely local pub.We received a warm welcome from the Land Lady (on my very first visit today) and from the regulars who constantly fed my Golden Retriever with treats. “Very good cafe modern and clean with very good service, large selection of food and drinks. Stuff are fast and welcoming. Everything we ordered was tasty. There is a large selection of breakfasts available, they have a nice small terrace outside. You can park in front and pay. It’s a nice local cafe to visit and enjoy food and drinks. I recommend”

“It maybe a mini version of a usual H&B store, but, the staff here are so helpful, resourceful having vested interest in the welfare of the customer over just selling anything off the rack. Special thanks to Lesley and Antonina, they have always been nice to my family, given us useful tips, advises and product information. Also on how best we can use our H&B loyalty card and deals to save money. They even sweetly pamper my little one and she loves going to the store for her dose of healthy snacks. As the store is small, I usually order my items online and it quickly gets delivered for pick up from this local store. I have been visiting H&B stores for years, but, when we moved local, I found the service in this store way more personalised, warm and welcoming. Keep up the great work!”

“The workers are really kind and are really patient. The tables are always clean, and you can always get , whether that's for one person or 5. They have sandwiches, hot drinks, water, and orange juice, so whatever you might want, they have.”

“We had kitchen units fitted 8 years ago, the work carried out was to a very high standard and to this day is still like new. Just recently we had a problem with one of the cupboard hinges which broke. We phoned Mike at Original Kitchens and he came the next day and repaired it free of charge. This is service you don't get these days I would thoroughly recommend them to anybody thinking of replacing their kitchen especially because of their excellent after sales service.
