“Really loved this place. Had a New York vibe, very cool bar and great open kitchen. Cocktails were amazing, the spicy margs and mezcal cocktails are SPICY! But very delicious. Food was amazing, we had 3 plates for 2 people and some tortillas and that was plenty. Prices were very fair for London. Will be back.”

“Found this place on Google maps and thought I would try it out. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. I have bad hearing so when I asked him to repeat something he was very patient with me and calmly repeated. The food was good and delicious. I would have liked it if they had lime or onion with cilantro (coriander). (It's a Mexican thing). All in all the food was fulfilling and the slushy drinks are amazing. I love the lime flavored. Would definitely go back if near the neighborhood. It's best to park in Tesco as there isn't much parking space near the restaurant.”

“After visiting a few times for dinner and enjoying the delicious food, we decided to hold our wedding reception at the Lordship in October. The food is always top notch and the staff are really helpful and friendly. The Lordship has a lovely atmosphere and everyone was so helpful when we were planning our big day. We had so many guests contact us after the wedding to say how much they enjoyed the food & the venue. Would highly recommend!”

“Great little spot! The pizza was fresh and tasty with a nice crispy crust. You can tell they care about the ingredients. I also tried their cardamom tea, and it was surprisingly good — warm, flavourful , and not too sweet. Friendly service too. Definitely worth a visit.”

“I absolutely love this place - curry in a wrap, what more could you want!? Good for vegetarians, with dal vadas spinach and lentil fritters or paneer. Lots of extras to customise your wrap (eg grilled onions, rice) and of course delicious sauces and curry bases. Staff are always lovely and helpful. Highly recommend”

“I had a fantastic lunch at Miss Margarita. The cuisine is authentic, prepared with top-quality Italian ingredients that make every dish stand out. The pizza dough deserves a special mention: light, flavorful, and simply one of the best I’ve had in London. Service was impeccable, with Giuseppe making the whole experience even more memorable through his attentive and friendly approach. And the tiramisu… hands down the best in London. Highly recommend this gem for anyone who loves genuine Italian food.”

“We had the most amazing time at Cheeky Chicos, we organised my friends hen do and we had 35 people in their private back room! It was incredible, they went above and beyond to help make it a special event and I cannot recommend them high enough! The food was incredible and the drinks were delicious, it was all very reasonable price wise too - everybody said it was amazing quality and value! I searched lots of places in London, but everybody wanted to charge ridiculous prices for a private room! It was a really memorable day and we will definitely be back!”

I wanted to write another review because the service, especially from Muskan and Muhammad, deserves to be recognised again. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. Muskan always makes me feel valued and special, even as a regular customer. It’s rare to find that level of care these days. Recently, I was thinking of eating somewhere else because I was tired and hungry, and coming to Chicos would’ve meant travelling further. But I chose to come anyway because I knew I would leave feeling satisfied — and as always, I’m so glad I made that decision. The experience was worth the journey, just like it always is. “Outstanding food and service. We were warmly welcomed by the host. Our waiter was great and knowledgeable which is very much appreciated he knew every detail of the process of making certain dishes which was also very interesting. We had tomato salad with delicious chilli oil and goat curd, fruit ceviche, pork shoulder with avo and tortillas and egg dish. It was all so flavoursome we loved it and would definitely come back. All the staff was super friendly even when leaving the bar team said bye. It’s all appreciated”

“We had a most memorable experience and meal, went there for El Pastor and Friends with Elena Reygadas. The food was absolutely fantastic, especially dessert. Drinks were great. Staff is so kind, welcoming, friendly, and attentive, and goes above and beyond. Special thanks to Juan and Mary. Music selection was great, and ambiance really takes you back to Mexico City. The place does get noisy, but everything else was so good that we didn’t mind. The pictures really don’t do the food justice. Everything was spectacular.”

“Great vibe.... tucked out the way but worth a visit... traditional Mexican fare.... warm and friendly.... good choice of fajitas and tacos... The half size fajitas is enough for 4 x tortillas... its more than enough for one.... Force of habit is to stuff them to the brim and then you cant fold them.... make sure you ask for extra napkins!!.... Very tasty will be back if in the area again....”

“This pub has a warm vibe, especially the sense of being welcome. It started with a nice chat with the publican to decide on a drink and I spent a blissful couple of hours with a cider on a warm day. While there is exposed brick all around, don’t mistake this for a hipster place and your kids are welcome up til 8pm.”

“Came for a lunch and was really pleased with the lunchtime menu. The deal with drink included was perfect as I wasn’t starving and was good to have a taster of several things on the main menu. Plus the price is a really good for what you get so I’ll definitely be back!! My son had the kids burger and chips which he finished and my partner also had a burger from he lunch menu. Tasty, friendly staff, always fresh and the bread my wife and our little son loves it, we always buy extra bread . “We went there on a Friday evening for all you can eat tacos £22. Excellent tacos, would highly recommend the carnitas and chorizo. The tacos were overfilling with meat and lovely hot sauces. The owner was lovely, very friendly and welcoming, gave us a free frozen mango shot at the end of our meal. Warning 5-6 tacos is probably enough, the 7 I had was at least 1 too many but well worth the food baby!”

“Hands down the best tacos & frozen tequila I have had in ages. The tacos that I chose were: ox cheeks, chicken and duck. And let me tell you all three options were amazing, full of flavour and very filling. The frozen tequila was perfect, perfectly balanced. Will definitely come back to try other cocktails, as they looked amazing. The manager and her staff were super friendly and ensured everyone was looked after. Will definitely be back!”

Super fresh, authentic flavours (those corn tortillas were amazing) felt like someone’s grandma had fed me. I had the fish, my friend had the chicken, both delicious. The vibe is chill, the staff are lovely, and shoutout to Connor behind the bar super attentive and clearly loves what he does. We ended up calling another friend to join us because we were having such a good time. She got the sea bass ceviche and was just as impressed. Later we headed downstairs where a DJ was playing great music, great energy, felt like a real community vibe. Definitely my new go to for an after work drink or quick bite. Some reviews complain about portion sizes, but this place is about quality over quantity. For central London, the price is great and the food’s the real deal. Plus, £1 tacos when you order a cocktail? Say less. We’ll be back for sure.”

“We were in London for a family holiday. Staying at the nearby Premier Inn, I was looking for a nearby restaurant for dinner with the family. This was within walking distance and had good reviews. So decided to book the table at this restaurant. But we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was small but the décor was giving a feel of Mexico. The service was great and fantastic aromas filled the air. When the food started to arrive, we were highly impressed. It rekindled our taste buds. The cocktails and drinks were also amazing. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended.”
