Nice for a quick meal, solo dining, a date, friendly hangout or special occasion. The waitress is very good at her job and felt really well we were not rushed, well attended to and taken care of. “My room was fine for a budget hotel. However, the staff was just excellent. They truly cared for my experience and did all they could to accomodate my needs. One day I left some food on my tablea. When they came to clean and saw the food, they brought in a fridge for me to use (without any request from my side). I was so surprised to come back to my room in the evening and find a fridge in it :D The hotel is close to Stratford station, which is very well communicated with all parts of London that I visited during my stay.”

“I needed two benches for a holiday home where I’m not always there. Hardly anyone could promise accurate delivery details as most outsource it. Corido were fab. They answer the phone (amazing!). They do their own delivery and use WhatThreeWords. So they delivered exactly where I asked even though I wasn’t there. And the benches are great too.”

I became a regular customer since I discovered them. Everything is simply unique, from the Italian style aperitif (£15 drink of your choice plus a stunning board full of delicious things) to the amazing pizzas! The waiter Corrado, is extremely kind and friendly. Really recommend this place, you want regret!”

“Was fortunate enough to get a last minute dinner reservation at the counter, which was a great experience! The restaurant is a short walk from Old Street station. Nest offers seasonal menus and my visit was during Beef Season. Unfurling the wax-sealed menu revealed two set menu options, the short menu or longer signature menu, which I went with. A wine pairing is available however I chose my own drinks. Over the next two hours I was treated to eleven courses of incredible cooking. Despite being Beef Season the menu was interspersed with some seafood and vegetable items as well, although they had found creative ways to incorporate beef in many of the courses. I enjoyed all the dishes but some of my favourites were the tempura oyster with bone marrow mayonnaise, the sirloin carpaccio and Highland beef. Sitting at the kitchen counter added to the experience, you could tell the chefs were passionate from the way they worked together and the way they explained each dish and how they had made it. To drink I had a Nest Negroni and a glass of Slovakian red wine, both of which were excellent and served promptly. The drinks list is extensive and will suit most tastes. Nest is in an area with lots of competition and certainly holds its own. It was a great meal and I would love to return to try another season!”

“We had the absolute best time at this gem of a theatre. Arrived early and spent time in the gorgeous bar, where the drinks were on point. Ordered food to enjoy during the movie. The theatre itself is kitted out with two person sofas. You pick where you want to sit beforehand. There ain’t a bad seat in the place. Our food and more drinks were delivered before the show started. The service was excellent, friendly and prompt. Can’t wait to come back here again. Thanks for a great night!”

Just had a great eve with superb food and drink at Porte Noire. Had the Xmas set menu and it was excellent and all on a Tuesday night! And don’t be afraid to have the house carafe of red wine from Bordeaux. It was delicious. Wish I had more time (and budget) to sample the rest of the extensive wine menu which looks to be around one of the best in London.”
