“I'm so grateful to have such a good local music school. They have handled the pandemic really well, too. After just eight weeks in the school as an adult piano beginner, all lessons with my tutor were moved online - and she taught me online to a level where I passed my piano Grade 1 with distinction! All the school tutors are great, and have good bios on the site so you can find one which is perfect for you. My lessons are full of laughter and creativity and patience from the tutor, it's something I look forward to every week whether it's virtual or in the school.”

Megan in particular was so helpful, and assisted us in setting things up before our guests arrived with their children as well as activities and clearing down. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen my toddler have so much fun with all of his nursery friends in a safe and friendly play space. Every toddler in that room was incredibly happy!! “What a lovely surprise. Our first visit was on a rainy day in early September on the way home from the hospital. Cheerful and helpful staff and customers. Enjoyed a portion of pasta bolognese, followed by a cake and coffee. We were "persuaded" to have the cake by two lovely Bangladeshi young ladies (they know a bit about rain) who ordered the chocolate cake between them - we had the vanilla. Good value. Excellent food. Cheerful and helpful staff and customers. This time one of the customers offered to buy us cups of tea each, and a muffin (where else would that happen) Worth a visit particularly on the way from the hospital to the station.”

I have taken all three of my children to Kathryn's classes and it's the one class that I have made sure we continue when they started going to Preschool- partly because they didn't want to stop, and partly because I didn't either. I love that they put heart into making the environment warm and homey; and it has a great garden space too. They truly care about getting to know your child and they care about you as a parent as well. The school has a beautiful parent & child group where my child and I met many friends. It also has a wonderful, tight-knit community within the school. They even offer parent workshops from time to time that really make us parents feel supported through different phases of our kids life. I have so much more to say but I’ll leave with this being said: the greatest gift you can give to your child is to let their imagination be encouraged and nurtured in a safe environment - and this school is it.”

“I am a 'mature' student who joined West London School of Guitar 3 years ago as a total beginner with a battered second hand electric guitar and no real idea of what I wanted to achieve. In that time, I've gone from learning simple chord progressions and melodies to playing classical pieces, learning a range of different and challenging techniques, sight reading and music theory and regular improvisation classes with other students (and acquiring a couple of new guitars en route!). We're also encouraged and given guidance to set ourselves goals on a regular basis and we work together to make these goals a reality. WLSoG wants all the students to be the best guitarists they can possibly be with an understanding of musical concepts as well as techniques. No stone is left un-turned on this route and students make great progress in a positive and friendly teaching environment. This is the best thing I've done in ages. I've grown in confidence as a guitar player and as a person - I can't recommend these classes highly enough.”
