“Rubix Events were lovely, professional and reasonably priced! They provided a compact photo booth with red carpet treatment and props, we requested to print our photos out and the quality was very good - we even got to have custom filter for the party! They also provided number lights which lit up the room! They were prepared with their own lighting as well and were discreet, as this was a surprise birthday set up - it all went smoothly. They also had a person on standby all night to help guests with the booth. From booking to the actual event they did an amazing job and I would certainly hire them again~”

“Not been here before. Pleasantly surprised! It's actually a nice little place. Suited to the beer and cider lover, there's a huge selection. No food other than snacks. Unisex WC. If you're thinking of getting there by tram to Beddington Lane and the 463 bus, get off instead at Therapia Lane and there are 2 bus routes to choose from: the S4 and the 463. They're not from the same bus stop, so check your live bus arrivals app while on the tram to decide which one to go for.”

“This is a small pizza takeaway that's been here for 35yrs, and there's a reason for this. They make there own pizza bases and they're quality is consistently good. Yes you might pay a few quid more than the competition up the road, but it's worth it!!!!”

The staff it's very fair and square about what they can deliver or not, puting safety first of all and no quality compromises. Honestly speaking, it's a top one! “Le Bon Cafe, a popular spot for breakfast is an unsuspecting Moroccan restaurant which I have been meaning try. Finally went in but didn't try the Moroccan dishes as planned but will revisit again another time. To be fair, the Moroccan menu had a good range of the usual suspects like the tangine, pancakes and briwat. It seems the breakfast is more popular possibly because it is cheaper than the Moroccan dishes. I had the American pancakes with salmon and scrambled egg which was how it should be. It was served stacked which was quite different and the pancakes were thick and soft unlike the supermarket ones which you can buy. Will return for the Moroccan dishes so I can compare it to the ones at Shepherds bush which are a third cheaper.”

“Ive been to this wee local pub a few times, always friendly and good banter! Its nice to get away from the hussle an bussle of the high street of croydon tho your only just around the corner.. wee places like this are becoming very rare and in time will eventually be pushed out by other big clubs/pubs doing student nights and cheap drinks night, this pub seems to have a loyal community following and long may it last! Ill definitely be back.”

“The only bar worth visiting in Croydon if you enjoy craft beer. Excellent range of beers both on tap and in the fridge. They usually have food available at weekends, and on weekdays you’re welcome to bring food in. Knowledgable staff.”

“I flew here from Melbourne where you can't find Foster's on tap anywhere (go figure!). The beer is great, and most are pulled from a traditional pump. The fish and chips is up there with the the best I've had. This place vibes like I would hope every little street pub would vibe. It's a shame I have to fly back home to the other Croydon in Melbourne.”

“I had my nails done here for the first time today, I’m so happy with the whole experience. The lady was professional, chatty and friendly. I usually leave the nail shop stressed and annoyed due to them not being done properly so I was nervous to try another place again, but I’m so glad I did! Thank you for a pleasant experience and great nails. I’ll also now be using this place for waxing and threading in the future.”

“Food was delicious. The decor is beautiful too. I had the scallops for starters and they were cooked to perfection and the lamb rump for main was also nice. The drinks / cocktails were rather expensive for a Croydon restaurant but they were also pretty good. Portions are not the biggest to order some sides if you’re hungry.”

“Visited a couple of times since restrictions were lifted. Very professional service with staff attending tables to take orders regularly. Definitely London pricing, cocktails will set you back £9.50+ a pop but they are delicious and pack a punch. And the food!!!...I had the hake, partner had the bone marrow burger - I have not had food that good since the Michelin starred Albert's Table closed down. Outstanding! You do need to book in advance and you only get 2 hrs per booking per day. Not all tables have heaters but vast majority do and 90% of tables are covered. On our 2nd visit the heater above our table wasn't working which was a shame because we would have stayed longer if it had been. A must visit for cocktail lovers and foodies alike.”
