“Our daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.”

“Great school. My son started there in OG (Year 6) last September and loves it. Kids are bright, parents are friendly and the teaching seems excellent. Doesn't matter what you are into (music, sport etc.) they seem to cater for it. Although it's a private school, it's a lot less snobby than some state schools - especially some of the Grammar schools.”

“So my son has been going here for nearly a year now and I can honestly say this is a really good Nursery. The front office staff are incredibly helpful and very polite and welcoming and very understanding. As for my son's class there have been amazing he loves to go there he's learning a lot. They helped us with his toilet training, and he was out of nappies in next to no time. I was expecting it to be very hard and difficult, but we did what they advised, and within a week he was out of nappies. Genuinely, if you're looking for a really good nursery, I would highly recommend you just go there for yourself. Have a look around, speak to them, and I'm sure you'll place your little one there.”

“Having been to the U18 Football, Don Davis, and fight4change boxing sessions, The Black Prince Trust is definitely one of the best places for fitness, especially for young people like me aged around 13 - 16. The pitch is quite decent and the boxing gym has a lot of equipment for training. The coaches are also extremely passionate in not only the sport, but also in supporting and inspiring adolescents to get fit and make new friends. Don Davis boxing is on from 4:30 to 5:30, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and the fee is £1.50, however the fight4change boxing sessions, football and basketball session are free. We first took our beloved Nico to Alan to have some dental work carried out a few years ago & more recently during his final months, following a bought of ill health, to Nico's final visit yesterday when we sadly made the difficult decision to put him to sleep. Alan is a wonderful vet, so knowledgeable, kind & considerate, we have never felt rushed whenever we had cause to see him. “Excellent experience. From the first voice on reception everything was clearly explained and all instructions were made easy to follow. Digital informaton sent was again made easy to complete with simple, clear instruction were given. On arrival we had a warm welcome and were quickly put at ease. The nursing staff were again excellent and very professional. The whole procedure was carefully explained to me and the dentist was absolutely first class. Friendly, reassuring and very pleasant personality. Lastly, the after care service was excellent. Clear instructions on aftercare at home were given with clear advice on pain management if needed.
