“What a fantastic place to have in a community. Not only is it great for picking up sporting supplies, the staff and security are friendly/helpful, AND there are all kinds of activities going on upstairs. These are affordable and provide a safe space to try out an activity. As a result, Canada Water has become a great place to live if you’re into sports / trying out new activities. Shout out to the taekwondo classes - these have been the highlight for me and I 10/10 recommend them.”

“Good facilities with friendly staff and Paul at reception is amazing. I attend Hampton sometimes for badminton and the atmosphere is great and the coach Mannie is fantastic. They have 4 courts inside the sports hall.”

“A few weeks back I was collecting my daughter from her classes in the centre and I purposely arrived a little earlier so that I would have time for my mid day prayer. I asked the lady at reception if the centre had a religious room. She was a little unhelpful and abrupt with an immediate no without apology. Not long after an absolute lovely gentleman by the name of Joe asked if I just needed a room which I replied yes he then guided me to a back room that had very dim beautiful lighting and only housed a ping pong table. I was so grateful. Just that small act of consideration and kindness made all the difference and immediately changed my mind about my initial interaction with the receptionist. Again thank you so much Joe. Your kindness went a very long way.”

“A great place to go swimming. I took my 5 month old recently and we were in the community pool. It was on a afternoon in the summer holidays but wasn't too busy. The only negative I have is that they need more family changing cubicles. There were only 2, that I could see, and both were being used so had to change baby on the bench in a normal cubicle which wasn't ideal. Other than that, a lovely pool and venue. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking and it's free if staying up to 4 hours.”

“Nice and cool place. Here you can find a number of activities like dance class, cricket class, boxing, karate classes, football lessons as well and so on. In the reception area you can buy a refreshments thing for yourself. Overall, it was a good experience Thanks”

“Used for a 8yr old kids birthday with the footie dude, Ben Judge. What a legend he was! Super friendly and attentive and inclusive to the kiddies. Really made the day special. Rest of the venue is clean and lots of parking and easy to find. Recommended.”

“Couldn’t imagine a better place to get both the sun and swim at the same time. Walk through reception where I’ll receive my cold beverage to aid me in my swim and during the summer sitting on the side waiting for the ice cream truck to deliver my ice cream. If I want to go enjoy a bit of a quieter environment I’d book for the Sun terrace where you can be away from the pool and enjoy a lovely sun lounge!”

“They have skilled, trained and patient swim coaches welcoming to all levels of ability. There is a sports hall next to the reception which you can hire for parties. There is an air conditioned gym as well. The changing rooms are renovated and clean.”

“It’s a great place to workout. I believe that there is everything you need and at a very good price. The staff is super friendly and nice! They are always available to spear tips about how to improve your workout as well as a nice chat. I have been attending this gym for over 5 years now and I am still very happy about it. Totally recommend it!”

“Really enjoy the fun swim. It's a small quite pool so great for the kids to play and feel secure. There's an hour fun swim sat and sun. Changing rooms are ok and the showers warm.”

“Possibly the best affordable themed pool in England, almost waterpark size minus the high price. The water temperature was perfectly warm, there were 2 hot tubs and plenty of rides, of which 3 were long. The decor was artistic, featuring model fishes and some rocky landscaping between things. Also there was a wave machine and enough space to swim laps in the 1.5 metres end.”

“A great space , at least 80ft long and 60ft wide. There is a side room with a bar area. The centre hiring manager is most helpful. Highly recommend you view this for all events as I know they have had Wedding Receptions, wakes, children's (U10) parties , private events and they have a lot of community and social events”

“I love this place. I have a membership, and it has a huge amount of classes for fitness to choose. The pools are huge indoor and outdoor. Staff are friendly, and fitness teachers are amazing. Better is a great gym, and I would recommend it to everyone. During summer you can use the Lido pool and have yoga, aqua aerobics outside. There is a car parking with lots of spaces. If you are a member of the gym, you can pay a fee of £5 at the staff desk and your Registration will be added to the Council list and you will have up to 4h free in the car park for a year.”

“Lovely pool, it is split into a main pool and learner pool so that’s nice for swimmers. Lane and general swim available. My daughter has swimming lessons here and the standard of teaching is high. The kids are pushed enough to be competitive but not so much that it’s negative competition. There are windows down two sides of the pool so when the sun is low you get beautiful dappled light in the water which feels lovely to swim in. One of the most unpretentious swimming pools around! Check it out next time you want a swim!”

“I’ve been a member at Fitness First for a while now, and I absolutely love it. The classes are challenging and fun, Jamie’s SPARR classes, in particular, always push me to go beyond what I thought I could do, and are so much fun, I tend to attend every week! I also do personal training sessions with Mo, who is great and very professional. He always motivates me to push myself and improve, and I can really see the progress I’m making. The staff and other members are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the atmosphere so positive and enjoyable.”

It always causes a clash when one of our little ones moves between swim stages. We also have the added complication of new clubs, etc., clashing with swim lessons. Zoe is always quick to respond with several options/ideas of making it work. She is a magician!”
