“We came here after an event and honestly it was amazing food and great service! The staff were so attentive to our needs and gave recommendations for the best totems on the menu. P.S. try out the Guava or Mango Jarritos drink, it’s really good!”

“The only place opened for breakfast this early that we could find. Walked all the way from seven sisters for breakfast. Quaint and simple spot, amazingly cheap breakfast. Spent only 5.6 for 2 as we have small stomachs. Came with coffee or choice of tea, wish more breakfast places opens this early”

“Hands down the best tortillas in all of London, and best tacos de carnitas too! Handmade blue corn tortillas really make the taco, and the fillings don’t disappoint. We tried tinga de pollo, pollo con mole, and chicharrón prensado. All of them were really good, but the absolute best were the tacos de carnitas. Deliciously moreish, so good we had to take some home, along with a couple dozen tortillas and salsa. Tere kindly packed carnitas and toppings for us, which we had today at home. And now I’m completely hooked, I’ll have go back for more soon. If you have a gathering at home (from a few guests to a big party), you can preorder tortillas, fillings, and toppings and you’ll impress everyone. The service is warm and attentive, and Tere makes everyone’s visit special. ¡Gracias! P.S. I’m from Mexico City. Some reviews have been critical of the ambience and waiting times. This is a market food stall, like the best ones in Mexico City, and there’s a special charm in that. As for waiting times, they are quite quick for London, way faster than any pub. Update: visited again for the special Dia de Muertos menu. Spectacular pozole, tamales, and agua de horchata.”

The chicken fajitas are delicious! Delicious cocktails, beer and great starters. On top of this, great value too with starters at around £6 and mains at £14. Thanks for a great experience! Plate4Plate charitable scheme counter on the wall is a nice touch alongside the ecological cutlery & packaging. We both loved our lunches and look forward to revisiting and trying other varieties.”

“The menu was expansive and if you're like us and you're not sure what to order, go for the 'Feasting Menu'. It says it's for two but we could share two sets amongst 5 of us, 3 below 15 years old. The highlight for us were the vegetarian options such as the Sweet Potato & Feta Taquito. The sweet potato was baked and the insides were creamy and sweet. Topped with feta cheese, tomatoes and a mixture of sauces (I have no idea what!) and they just go so well. The Beet Tartare Tostadas was also a splendid surprise. Buttermilk Chicken Tacos and Grilled Brindisa Chorizo Quesadilla were our faves as well. Just make sure that you make reservations on their website. We were there on a Friday evening and I heard that it was an hour wait if you walk-in.”

The place was packed, which was a great sign. The food was fresh and delicious. We both built our own bowls.they have great options like steak, chicken, beans, two different types of rice, sautéed veggies, corn,, pickled onions, jalapeños. I really loved their piña, hot sauce!”
