“Our favorite restaurants in Orpington and we go there often. The lobster dish is absolutely delicious and perfect for two people to share. The best we had for a lobster dish. Lots of good seafood dishes that you won’t find in other restaurants around here. The salads is delicious that even I who isn’t a big fan of salad like it. Their children menu is also good. We particularly like the nutritious and healthy fish and veggies dish for our son. He cleared the whole plate. Very friendly staff and chefs. The price is very good too for what you get. Highly recommend it.”

“First time visit for me, the family had been before and I must say the flavoursome food was not a disappointment, it was superb. We didn't order individually but ordered for the table ,so we all tried something and this worked well for us. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the only reason I didn't give it full stars for atmosphere was because we chose a time to suit some of the family. I'm told at other times the other times there's a great warm atmosphere. The open view tandoori oven/kitchen adds an element of drama. Well worth a visit.”

“We had the most amazing experience at Hayward’s this weekend. I booked the dinner and accommodation package for my husbands birthday months ago. Since booking, I have had to go on a strict diet for medical reasons. I contacted Hayward’s and they went above and beyond what I had expected by creating a fully bespoke menu for myself, meaning I didn’t miss out on anything and you would never have known the food had been adapted. My husbands food was incredible as well. The service on the night was impeccable, our glasses were never empty and little touches such as the waitress’s ensuring the tables were clean after each course did not go unnoticed. We would highly recommend visiting this family run business and we will be back for definite.”

“Really lovely dinner here - it’s a warm quite jazzy atmosphere inside, and the staff who looked after us were absolutely lovely, looked after us really well. And the food! The dishes we ordered were fabulous, starters and mains, the menu had quite a few interesting dishes you don’t see in every Indian restaurant. “I’m a flight attendant from the US, so I rarely make reservations since my schedule is unpredictable. I decided to walk in on a whim after seeing the great reviews and craving Indian food. “It's all in the name! Great food in a modern and laid-back setting, with options for vegetarians and vegans. I got the Samosa Chole Chaat and the Jackfruit Biryani. Both were seasoned exquisitely, and rich in flavor. The chole chaat had offered a nice contrast with it's use of chutney, while the biryani was laden with spices.
