“The Canbury Arms on Canbury Park Road in Kingston upon Thames. A superb offering from the Young's stable. The service and interaction from and with the staff is from the top draw! A good offering from the keg, covering many tastes. There are also three cask ales on offer, including a couple from the Surrey Hills Brewery. A wonderful airy dining area and a couple of 'secret' patios. All great fun and lovely cold beer to boot. There is also a discreet, private dining area upstairs, ideal for business meetings, celebrations and the like. A must visit!!”

“Recently stayed here for its fantastic location near to the station and all amenities, staff were extremely helpful and considerate going above and beyond. It’s cheap and cheerful and very clean as you would expect. When I couldn’t figure out how to work the elevator key one kind lady offered to come up with me to demonstrate. Others were also very approachable and more than happy to offer assistance. It’s so rare to find kind and responsive team members these days, they really made my stay and made us feel so welcome. Thank you to all the staff at Kingston Travelodge, it was truly a pleasure!”

“This place is under new management and is truly changed for the better, the new rotund boss has made some brilliant changes. Tom who resembles the jolly round butcher we all grew up with, has rebranded as a ‘Tea and sausage sandwich emporium’. You can come and enjoy your pot of lapsang suchong and bacon sarnie until late afternoon. The colourful range of local clientele also makes each visit similar to a visit to the zoo! “Well every now and then your find a gem and wildwood hits the bill !!! Service was very quick and attentive . I had the calamari for starters and the classic burger for mains the calamari was lightly seasoned as it should be fresh and vibrant the burger was cooked to perfection with fabulous quality beef seasoned again perfectly . Home made fries are perfectly cooked . My wife and daughter had pasta dishes and they said the flavours were so intense and aromatic .. Highly highly recommended and don't let that kitchen team leave you have keepers there !!!.”
