I walked in with no appointment and she still accommodated me. I thoroughly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and not to mention extremely thorough and tidy job she did on my nails. “I’ve been having treatments with Kai and Abi since moving to Rickmansworth, and I couldn’t recommend them more! Kai has given me pregnancy massages as well as full-body and hot stone massages. She always pinpoints exactly where the pain is and explains how to relieve it beyond just massage. I even recommended her to my father-in-law, and thanks to her treatments he has made remarkable progress since his stroke. Over the past year, Kai and her team have worked hard to improve his circulation and muscle movement, and we’ve seen a real difference in his independence and mobility. I’ve also had treatments from Abi, including regular eyebrow waxing and tinting, as well as her incredible Korean facials. These facials have improved my skin so much that even my husband noticed the difference — especially the reduction in blackheads on my nose!”

“I visited The Old Shepherd for the first time on Saturday evening and was very impressed with everything about it. The decor and lighting help to create a great atmosphere along with the helpful and friendly staff and welcoming locals. The quality, portion size and value of the food was outstanding, I ordered a veggie burger which was the best i've ever been served in a pub and the fries were delicious too. I'm told there's live music now on most Saturdays and the artist playing was of a very high standard. Highly recommended venue worth travelling to.”

“Kelly and team do the most thorough pedicures and manicures! My feet feel amazing every time and the colour selection they have is vast. They also have fantastic massage chairs. I would never go anywhere else for pedicure now. When I have my hands painted they do amazing French manicures and lots of other nail options.”

“Been meaning to leave a review for a very long time, however managed to forget..probably due to the fantastic friendly service we always receive from the team. We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts - they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. Final shout out to Becks, Jason… our favourites… and of course Harry, Layla, Ben, Jess, Jack and Ollie. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Really lovely place with so much character. An amazing Sunday roast dinner was had. The meat was succulent, tender and full of flavour. The veg was cooked to perfection. Super tasty Yorkshire puds and gravy. We shared a super serving of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. Sat next to a roaring fire. Bliss. Highly recommend this place 100%.”
