“Had my hair colored by Sel and another lovely girl that works there, unfortunately can't remember her name but it begins with an A. 10/10 experience. They really took care of me making sure I was comfortable and offered me a coffee. My hair colour took a while because the hair didn't lift initially but they were so patient and made sure everything came out perfectly even though I overstayed after closing. Definitely recommend them both!”

“Great friendly staff, never had any issues with getting my hair cut or a shave here. Update: the staff here are immensely friendly, and extensive protective steps have been implemented in light of the COVID situation, meaning that, as a clinically extremely vulnerable person, I felt safe the whole time I was there. I frequently take my nephew for his haircut there too, and they engage with him which is really nice. I simply cannot recommend this barber shop any more highly! Update 25/03/22: Nothing has changed, still a fantastic barbers, with friendly engaging staff and reasonable prices. Just been and had a haircut and shave.”

We've normally taken a (very well behaved) golden retriever, and that was originally the main draw to the place, but after a good first visit.. and a good second one, it's become a default choice. The servers are been friendly, human, chatty. The food has been pretty consistently great, and the menu is very well put together - there is something for everyone, although an additional vegi option would probably be helpful. The doggy menu is a really nice touch, and it is suitably priced (often these things are over priced - which detracts from the overall intent). Overall would recommend it. The vibe is friendly/family/relaxed.”

“Staying locally we have visited this venue a few times with our children and 2 dogs. A very friendly, welcoming fun place that has a fantastic atmosphere. Due to refurbishing the kitchen, food was not available. However, the pub owners recommended, adjacent is a barge boats on the canal "Baltic Seafood" where we could purchase food and bring back to the pub to enjoy. The TV was showing live sport and we al enjoyed playing a game of darts too.”
