“A Lovely Spot by the Thames – Kingston Riverside Kingston Riverside is one of my favourite places to unwind in Southwest London. Right by the River Thames, it’s got that perfect balance of lively atmosphere and scenic charm. Whether you’re popping down for a casual stroll, grabbing a coffee, or enjoying a meal by the water, there’s always something quite special about the vibe here. The selection of restaurants and pubs along the riverside is solid — from cosy spots for a pint to more upscale dining. On a sunny day, the outdoor seating areas are buzzing, and the view of the river with the boats gently passing by is just brilliant. It’s also great for walks or bike rides, especially with the Thames Path running through. And with the town centre just a short walk away, it’s incredibly convenient. All in all, Kingston Riverside is a gem — perfect for a relaxed day out or just soaking up some riverside atmosphere.”

“After an amazing trip to Japan, where I fell in love with the food, I found Atariya Foods Kingston in Kingston, London—a true Japanese gem. Their fresh tuna and salmon are perfect for making my own sushi, and the skilled chefs create authentic dishes. We’re lucky to have it! Please open a branch near Sutton Station, Sutton High Street, Sutton, London. I bought KOSHIHIKARI sushi rice, sashimi set, Mizkan vinegar, and Kaitatuya seaweed to make my own sushi, plus S&B Torokeru Curry Sauce for katsu curry. I enjoyed the Tuna Blast Sushi, Yakitori, Edamame, sweet Daifuku, Goma Wakame Salad, and fresh Tuna and Salmon Lover Sushi. The Spicy Salmon Onigiri was delicious—please add a spicy salmon roe version like in Japan!”

“Vibes for real. Kai you are a Capital F Legend. My hair was in tatters aside my free forms and he gave my head a good fix. I couldn't not leave a review. That was the first haircut I had in 5/6 years. Aswell as Kai other staff where putting time and effort in to everyone's experience. My friend kept pushing me to get it cut here inparticular and I definitely understand why, as well as being great business and having skilled and clearly very well trained Barbers, they made me feel pampered today. I don't normally like getting regular haircuts, this place makes me want to change that stance. Bless Kai and Smokeys”

“I recently visited vape & shisha hub Kingston and I was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere was clean, relaxed, and welcoming—perfect for both seasoned vapers and curious beginners. The staff(sunny) were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help me find exactly what I needed without being pushy. They had a wide selection of vapes, e-liquids, coils, and accessories. I especially appreciated the variety of flavors—everything from classic tobacco to exotic blends like lemon peach and passion fruit. “I've been to Happy Nails on 3 occasions now and each time I have left the shop a very happy lady. Ami took care of my nails for me and ensured I was happy with the outcome - I am a little adventurous with my nail designs and she has taken on each challenge without any issues. I am also a disabled customer and they have been great about ensuring I am as comfortable as possible. I also had a lovely pedicure done by Mia on my last visit, the massage and hot towel on my feet and legs was my favourite part after my summer nail design. I'm going to be a regular customer :-D”

“The Canbury Arms on Canbury Park Road in Kingston upon Thames. A superb offering from the Young's stable. The service and interaction from and with the staff is from the top draw! A good offering from the keg, covering many tastes. There are also three cask ales on offer, including a couple from the Surrey Hills Brewery. A wonderful airy dining area and a couple of 'secret' patios. All great fun and lovely cold beer to boot. There is also a discreet, private dining area upstairs, ideal for business meetings, celebrations and the like. A must visit!!”

“Rooms are spacious for two! - At no extra cost! Friendliest Staff available on hand! Kitchen is a bit small for people who like cooking a lot. Right next to Kingston Station and Cromwell Bus station, easiest way to access other places from by walking for 30 seconds either side of the exit. Overall a great student accommodation with access to a common room, washer room and a bike storage room for any extra needs!”

“Fantastic hotel in a quaint part of London. Was surprised to see that there we many restaurants around and a large variety of shops. Also, Andreina at the front desk was absolutely fantastic in helping us ensure that we had everything we needed for our stay. She was very accommodating and understanding of our travel requirements. “I rate 5 star for the service as all the staff are fantastic, 5 stars for the lovely cakes, but sadly, only a 1 star for the atmos/ambience because the new owners, I believe, decided to remove the beautiful piano that I used to adore playing there. Also it was linked to constant background piano notes, cleverly playing out of the piano while no one played it. That really was quite relaxing and unique whilst enjoying the food and cakes, and after my weekly office job , I would look forward to my visits there at the weekends to unwind and sometimes play.. A great hub and centrepiece has been ripped out of the heart of the cafe. It blended in very well and also was a fine backdrop against the old churchyard opposite through the tall windows. I just was preparing my Xmas carols repertoire and some more new lyrics when I visited there last Saturday, but my piano was gone!”

“Recently stayed here for its fantastic location near to the station and all amenities, staff were extremely helpful and considerate going above and beyond. It’s cheap and cheerful and very clean as you would expect. When I couldn’t figure out how to work the elevator key one kind lady offered to come up with me to demonstrate. Others were also very approachable and more than happy to offer assistance. It’s so rare to find kind and responsive team members these days, they really made my stay and made us feel so welcome. Thank you to all the staff at Kingston Travelodge, it was truly a pleasure!”

“I was a little worried after reading previous reviews, but I needn't have been! Short walk from the station, greeted very warmly by Alizay who was an absolute joy. Given a choice of floors, so opted for 6 as figured it would be quiet. This is the business floor... Room was spotless, even a bit of a view from the window. No issues with getting in late after a gig, key card worked fine. I felt safe as a woman on my own. Comfy bed, great shower, and no rush to check out the next morning. Another lovely gent on reception. Would definitely stay again, easy quick walk to go look at some of the sights. Really can't find fault for the price.”
