“Fantastic food! I had the mixed fish and my partner had the mixed grill. It was phenomenal. They have a lovely kids menu too; my daughter had the tomato penne pasta which she loved. The cocktails are delicious and the restaurant atmosphere and decor is lovely. Highly recommend!!”

“This is a great restaurant. We had a stunning lunch. Beautiful Seabass ceviche, followed by Zucchini fritters and then Sauté scallops. All were cooked perfectly. “A special meal for my birthday and it was fantastic, Tim our waiter was just brilliant. Was filling our water glasses before we even noticed, recommended drinks based on our likes. He was superb with my partner who had multiple allergies to egg milk and nuts. When a course accidentally came out with a sauce which he thought could have milk it in, he quickly made a replacement himself so we could eat together. He sadly had to go quickly at the end, so didn’t have time to thank him properly for how brilliant he was. He was credit to the Clink and HMP Brixton. Will come back for afternoon tea and hope that lovely Tim or his colleagues are working. And hope that I’m served by Tim again in the future!”

“Absolutely stunning food！Had the full tasting menu. Every single course tastes amazing！ The whole dining experience was fantastic. The amuse bouche was served in the bar area，and then we were led to the dining room. The dining tables are big and between tables it is very well spaced. The service is very professional. The environment is very well designed and decorated. Guests can watch the chefs cooking in the open kitchen. The taste of the food is complicated also very well balanced. My favourate dishes are lobster rice，quail，fish stew and the wagyu.”

“I'm (being Indian) usually not a big fan of eating Indian food at restaurants in the UK, but yesterday, we were starving in the late afternoon and decided to try a new place. We went to Yaadein Authentic Indian Restaurant in Stoneleigh, Epsom , and I was impressed! The lamb chops (not in the picture) and Shish kebab were so soft—better than what I’ve had at most restaurants. I also ordered a thali, and it was just as delicious. Highly recommend checking it out !”

“Best customer service I've ever had in any restaurant. Every member of staff was incredibly polite, professional and attentive to detail. I loved the beef ribs I ordered, however my friends weren't big fans of the mixed grill they ordered.. and also the Bulgar rice was not as nice as the bulgar rice weve had in other Turkish restaurant. These are minor issues and overall everyone in my group said they would definitely come again.”

“First time visiting and loved it. Quirky with a 70s/80s feel but beautifully set tables and silver service that you don't often get these days. It was really nice to have vegetables served individually from silver platters rather than dishes just dumped in the middle of the table. Took a star off service because I felt the wine waiter was sloppy. Great menu and plenty of GF options for me. I had queenies (small scallops) to start followed by calves liver and onions, which I hadn't had for ages but had a recent notion, so it was fortuitous that it was on the menu. I can't wait to go back.”

Traditional bangla fish curry was great too. Would highly recommend and in my opinion presents better overall value than Dishoom.”

“This was my first visit to this restaurant which was chosen by my client for a business meeting because he is vegan. There are more Plant Based options on the menu than not and they all looked / tasted great. For those of us who also eat meat, I can say the venison was spectacular. Both of us left having truly appreciated a fantastic meal. The venue was perfect, great location in a sophisticated part of town and the ambience was well judged. It's not the biggest restaurant but there was enough space between tables to have discrete conversations without concern. As a further vote of confidence, I will be visiting again in the new year with my wife... AND DOG :) Sean, our fantastic waiter positively encouraged me to bring our dog. Table 6 is probably best if you bring your furry friend because its a little removed from the other tables. I'm looking forward to my next visit - thanks again for the great service Sean.”

“Visited Blacklock for the first time. Girlfriend booked it for a group of us based on reviews and location. You go in and down into the main area where it is all happening. This was busy and the atmosphere was buzzing. Service was excellent. I went for the 300g fillet and it was good ... very good! Had the crayfish salad for starter and was surprised at how good that was ... the avocado in the base salad is sublime. I did see the beef ribs starters coming out though and admit to some food envy but cannot complain as the crayfish salad was good and quite light before tucking into the steak main. I had the low alcohol beer served in an iced beer glass - nice!. Next time I'm going for the porterhouse! Will definitely be going back to this place and cannot recommend it enough. Superb.”

We moved here in the middle of the night from a nearby hotel, as it was noisy and we weren’t able to rest properly. It was the best decision we ever made! Five stars.”
