I travel from the US and I probably would say this is the best service I’ve ever received and I eat out a lot. I recommend the biryani and their Peri Peri chicken is so good. I promise you will not be disappointed. This will be one of my go to places going forward God willing.”

“I’m from Tanzania but loved the authentic African ambiance. Felt right at home. The food was delicious and the service from uncle and auntie was homely. There was a group of people next to us and I loved their energy. Afrobeats was playing in the background ✨ had a lovely time!”

“It was my first time dining at Restaurant Albina, I loved how authentic the restaurant was inside and how cosy it felt. I was greeted by the waitress who was very friendly and helped me with the menu as I couldn’t decide from all the tasty options! I ended up having the chicken/pasta soup with a warm bread bun. The soup was delicious, a clear broth with lots of flavour - and I loved how light but filling it was. The bun was the perfect add on. For dessert I had the cherry dumplings - I will definitely be coming back for those! Overall I had a really great meal, the food and atmosphere is very comforting and gives a lovely family/friendly vibe. Thank you Albina for a wonderful meal! I will definitely be returning!”

“Just had lunch and wow — the food was so good! The mix grill was perfectly cooked, super juicy, and full of flavor. You could tell it was fresh off the grill with that perfect smoky taste. The Charsi Chicken Karahi was another standout — spicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was so delicious that we couldn’t resist dipping the naan into every last bit. The service was warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back— highly recommended!”

“Amazing traditional Pakistani food. The service is excellent, the owner (We know him as uncle) has the best hospitality and manners. When uncles not there, his boys, Muazzam, Mukarram and Azam make sure the guests are looked after. 10 out of 10 for me!!”

“Bought their cheapest set breakfast for £6.50. It came with fried bread but I was asked if I wanted to swap it for toast so I thought that was good customer service but I declined. Nice big, tasty coffee. Sausage could have been a bit more 'meaty'. Cooked to order. New photo added in July 2024.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely phenomenal! I ordered the beef chow mein and chicken balls from Greedy Panda — and honestly, they were the best I’ve ever had. The beef was tender, packed with flavour, and the noodles were perfectly cooked — not greasy, just full of rich, savoury goodness. And the chicken balls? Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a golden batter that was spot on. You can tell they use quality ingredients and care about what they’re serving. This place is a hidden gem — I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!”

“If you are craving a Turkish takeaway, trust me when I say, Efes is the place to order and nowhere else! You can trust this place for quality with your eyes closed. I have been ordering for years and it is consistently great. I am never disappointed. I ordered my favourite lamb ribs, you get 7 chunky pieces, they were fresh, meaty, well seasoned and cooked perfectly on the grill. Served with delicious Turkish rice done as it should be, the most delicious homemade chilli sauce which I love so much ( I must say my only complaint is that they don’t give enough of it, its too small for the meal). You also get a grilled pepper and tomato, garlic sauce, lovely bread and salad. The portion is generous and served piping hot. I just love Efes. When you think Turkish food think Efes ❤️”

“10/10 and I am fussy when it comes to cafe food as I find most cafes don’t cook their food Throughly. The food was absolutely perfect couldn’t fault it one bit. Price is reasonable, some may even say the prices are within budget. The lady who took my order came Out of her way to ask me about how I want my eggs and meat, you don’t get this service anywhere else. I’m excited to go back next time I am on the barking road. “I had a wonderful experience at the Premier Inn in Barking. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and very well prepared – exactly what you’d hope for to start the day right. A special mention to the waiters, Sain and Aaliyah, who gave excellent service throughout. They were attentive, polite, and made sure everything was served perfectly. Their professionalism and friendliness really added to the overall experience. “Just your standard travel lodge. Great room at a very good price. Can’t complain. Only about a 5 minute walk to barking tube station and directly under the Travelodge is a Tesco express so it’s a great location. We stayed here as we went to the 02 arena for a concrete and is about 20 minute tube journey about which is very convenient . We will definitely look to stay here again when going to the o2”

I could tell the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. They could do a little more with the restaurant, some clean up and repairs but the staff made me feel right at home. If you’re looking for the best Nigerian food, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommend!”
