The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain separate and infused with flavour, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. Portion sizes were generous, definitely worth the price. The biryani came with raita and salan, both fresh and complementary without overpowering the main dish. What stood out most was the balance of spices—flavourful without being overwhelmingly hot. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was neatly packed with no mess or leakage, which I really appreciate for takeaways. Overall, an excellent biryani experience. If you’re craving authentic, aromatic, and satisfying biryani, this place is absolutely worth trying. Highly recommended!”

“We love The Od Courthouse Cafe. A gem in High Barnet, especially when you have smaller children. The coffee is great (alternative milks available), food has a good variety (GF and Vegan, and dairy free) and there is plenty of space and ride one toys to keep them occupied whilst you can actually enjoy a cup of coffee, great cake and chat. We frequently come, especially during the summer. The community is what helps make a cafe like this so great, everyone is friendly, locals donate preloved ride ons/ sand toys and children have already been friendly and played so well.”

The next time we are visiting London mark my words we will be back. They had a great selection of beers on tap, the pub had a lot of character, you could walk around there and look at everything. I had my bridal shower here, a party of 10, and the staff were very catering to our needs, allowed my friends to set up early before I arrived and helped with the tidy up of our own stuff as we left. They allowed us to take our time and enjoy the party, even past closing hours for them. Decor is up to date and modern. Food was fantastic (we had the afternoon teas). Overall great experience and will defo be coming again to bring more family and friends in the future, definitely worth the trip!”
