“This is anew restaurant in the neighbourhood. We went there for lunch & were pleased with both the food quality as well as service. As we went in lunch time, we only had a pasta dish each. Mine was Spaghetti Al Nero Di Seppia (squid cooked in ink)My friend had Linguine Alla Scoglio (mixed seafood). Both were excellent. Tiramisu was superb too. Deco in the restaurant was casual but warm. Shame it was rather empty as crowds would always affect atmosphere.”

“Authentic, flavoursome food here. Everything was cooked hot and fresh and was spiced to perfection. King mixed grill was the right size portion for 3 of us. Gobi manchurian was crispy and not drenched in sauce. Plenty of parking for a mid afternoon visit but I can imagine this place gets busy in the evenings. Good selection of beers on tap. “Went in last night for a pizza from the guys at Slice — absolutely delicious! The crust was perfect, and the wings were really good too. Had a couple of drinks beforehand — nice crowd and great atmosphere. The happy hour between 6–7 is a bonus — a pint and a half for under a fiver! Great value all round.”

“Had a Sunday evening family meal for 5 of us. We were served and looked after by Mira who did a fantastic job. Very polite and friendly. It seemed the restaurant had more staff on than normal (not sure if they had recruited more), but the staff (especially Mira) were brilliant. Salad bar was always topped up too!”

“I hired the Grand Suite at the New Inn for my 60th birthday party with 110 guests. Everything was perfect! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Thanks especially to Aimee who ensured I was able to set up decorations etc. early in the day. The room is beautiful with a lovely big dance floor and nice big tables with plenty of seats. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. Great air conditioning in the main room on a very hot night was very welcome! My guests were all extremely impressed with the venue. Thank you all the staff for making everything work out so well - brilliant!”
