“My 6 year old daughter started ballet classes at TDS nearly 2 years ago and she'd like to sign up to her 4th weekly class from September. It goes without saying that she LOVES it! This dance school is a gem in Teddington. Natalie and her team are amazing and professional in every way. They always keep to the highest standards while teaching and guiding the kids gently and with kindness. There's a nice sense of community feel across the school where the children can feel safe and make friends. The way all the dancers - whether young or older - support each other is so lovely and heart-warming to see. The best place I have been lucky enough to find for my daughter, which I can highly recommend! Thanks TDS!!”

It’s been great for his coordination and his confidence and the whole team are lovely too. Plus, it’s such a joy to have a 90 minutes to get things done on a Saturday morning :)”

“Our son attended Teddington Busy Bees since 2019, joining when he was 7 months old. The team and management have been so welcoming over the years and have really supported his introduction to an early years setting and encouraged his development. The nursery faced many challenges during covid 2020/2021 up to the first part of this year, but the staff balanced both covid safety messures all the while ressuring the children and parents that the nursery would be a safe ,secure friendly environment. I am truely thankful for all the wonderful memories he has created, social and physical development coupled with friendships formed with children and staff . The staff have been key in his development, regardless of which room he has been in all the staff have got to know him and continued as he moved through each room. He is now ready to start reception today , he is more than ready thanks to the wonderful team at Busy Bees. Highly recommend the nursery.”

“Amazing dance school. The teachers are not only highly skilled with incredible credentials but are fun, personable and most importantly the kids adore them. They really help out if you’re struggling and nurture the enjoyment and love of the skill of dance and also the love of the art of dance. Additional shows and summer schools/holiday activities are excellent too and the kids have such a great time. You don’t have to be the next Darcey Bussell or Carlos Acosta to enjoy the attention, nurturing and dedication of the teachers and they really get the best out of everyone. Outstanding results with lots of incredible dancers emerging from the school and more importantly lots of very happy and engaged children. Highly recommend.”

“I was a pupil at Teddington BOYS school in the early 80s. Then it mixed with a school from Kingston which introduced girls to my school life. I attended for only the 1st and 2nd year before I moved up north. Those two years were fantastic. I remember doing impressions of teachers at the front of my class before the teacher walked in. I remember coming first for Stewart house in the cross country run. I remember severing my hand with tinsnips in the metal workshops. I also remember the minutes silence in assembly for a lad in the year above who died of leukemia. Very sad. I believe I would have received a great education at Teddington.”

“My daughter has been with NIX since it first started and does a wide range of classes with them from ballet to cirque, jazz and lyrical and everything in-between as is also on their Elite Squad where they perform in competitions. The teachers are incredible and it's a wonderfully nurturing environment that I have not come across in other dance schools. Since my daughter moved across from another dance school her progress and confidence has been off the charts. Nicky and her teaching staff are absolutely incredible and wonderful role models. The creativity infused through everything is absolutely wonderful but also they really do teach valuable life skills and instil strong values and ethics through everything they do which is another way they stand out for me from other dance studios I have experienced. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the studio to anyone for their forward way of teaching which is absolutely excellent. I love it so much I have even started adult dance ballet lessons there myself! Very convenient as it's while my daughter is in her own class :)”
