“Owner has changed !!! Previous reviews are referring to the grump who used to run the place however we now have lovely service and it’s my go to for essentials and Evri parcels. Good variety of products, wines, beers. Prices not extortionate, wouldn’t do for the weekly shop but feel blessed to have it so close.”

“Don't let the negative reviews put you off booking. We really enjoyed our stay in one of the 'Premier Plus' rooms, it was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy and all the staff were really nice and helpful. We ordered breakfast, which is served in the pub (The Winning Post), which is on the side of the building. It was amazing; there was plenty of choice (even as a vegetarian), and the cooked breakfast was made to order. Again, all the Staff were sociable and friendly. We will definitely be back.”
