“I’m not often ‘gushy’ over egg on toast but there’s a first time for everything! It’s our last day ‘over beyond’ in England and the breakfasts here have been largely unremarkable and certainly so when compared to the offerings at home. Well, I think England wins to Love against poor old Ireland, thanks to the truly exceptional breakfast at Drop Shot. Every tiny thing on the plate is first rate; the tea is delicious (Bewley’s, so we’ll take a point for that!) the toast, the butter, all exceptional. But the eggs… my goodness… Blindingly orange yolks, poached to nanosecond perfection, jammy and delicious. Himself had the ‘Drop Shot’ which is a full English, I think? Really, every single thing was perfection. I’m disgusted that we wasted three whole breakfasts of our stay at other establishments. My thanks and admiration to whomever chose the produce, and certainly to the chef. Not to mention the lovely servers, who were everywhere all at once but never intrusive, which is a lot harder than it’s supposed to be. We’re ’over Beyond’ a couple times a year, and without doubt; our breakfasts are sorted forever. Don’t wait to visit Drop Shot; make an absolute point of it! ❤️”

“Love this cafe. It is my favourite. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. They have a lot of space for a small place. Their pastries are amazing- my favourite are the croissants but I try to avoid gluten. The breakfasts are great too. My favourite are the corn cakes with the poached egg and chilli jam! They have a lot of vegetarian options which is great! Also gluten free options too. Coffee is great! Highly recommend”

“All I can say is bellisima!! I have been wanting to try The Roasting for quite sometime. It is definitely worth the wait. The coffee was great and the pistachio croissant was absolutely fabulous. It’s one of the nicest pastries I had. The prices were also decent and affordable. Service is also great. The guy helped me to choose pastries by giving me an idea of what each of them were and he also gave me a drink recommendation. I will definitely come back to try the other stuff.”

“After moving to the UK for 2 months I finally found a great coffee. My coffee was made by Ben and it's so great. It's so balanced with the creaminess of the milk, and I can still taste the strong coffee flavor. I usually found coffee in London to be more on the mild side with too much milk flavor. “I recently visited Italo Deli in London, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots! They offer different sandwiches daily, always with a veggie and non-veggie option, plus a plate or salad. Each sandwich is served in the fluffiest focaccia you can imagine. I tried a Courgette Sandwich and this definitely my kind of summer sandwich! The atmosphere is great, especially on a sunny day. The outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying your meal. The coffee is fantastic, and they have pastries too. I had a cardamom bun which was great. There were also almond croissants which looked delicious. If you're craving a good sandwich and ready for a surprise that never disappoints, Italo Deli is definitely a go-to spot in London.”

I often come in for a quick bite to eat and a coffee, usually popping in and out, I just want to say how lovely each and every single staff member is, the atmosphere is much nicer than the other coffee shops around the area. Jennifer has taken my order a few times and made my coffees, she always makes everyone feel welcomed and is such a lovely member of staff. Coffees always taste so fresh and food is always delicious !!!”

“Cosy cafe tucked away in leafy Chiswick, 2 mins walk from the Thames. Nice coffee, matcha, teas & smoothies. Tasty food made to order so it’s always fresh & takes a few mins longer to prepare. There’s also a variety of sandwiches & pastries. The owner is always there ensuring a high level of service & quality. Friendly staff & atmosphere. The secret garden at the back makes it a nice spot in the summer after a nice stroll by the river. Definitely worth a try.”

“Family owned since 1988? You can tell, as they are so rightly proud of this well run cafe. Clean and plentiful seating (40+ seats), with clean toilet for patrons. Wide-ranging menu. Ordered the ‘set 4’ breakfast, and which was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Had more breakfasts that I can count at cafes and this was one of the best. Staff welcoming and friendly and engage in conversation readily. Will be sure to visit again next time I’m in North Finchley.”
