“Really friendly cafe. I'd travelled a long way with my tiny puppy to the vet and needed a hot drink and snack and to use the bathroom. The tea and pork sandwich hit the spot perfectly. The owner and fellow diners were so nice and friendly to the puppy and let me feed and water her too. It seemed like a very local personal place. There are a couple of Portuguese cafes in Walthamstow where i live and i would say the Bifana here was tastier!”

Only had bacon ans egg bag and baguette with latte and coffee £14. How much bacon can you get in a baguette? 6 slices. “I was early for work and couldn't access the building I needed. So I had a quick look for a coffee and a small bite to eat and spotted this little cafe. It was fairly quiet for a Monday morning, which was a surprise. I had just a coffee and croissant with cannelloni. Both were fresh and tasted great. The price was reasonable, considering I would have paid almost twice as much at most mainstream brands for a coffee alone.”

They also have a great selection of specialty beans to take home. I picked up a bag of their Yirgacheffe from Ethiopia as a present — it’s bright, aromatic, and full of character.
