“I have been coming to Sorella for years for my balayage using toner. I have been seen by both Emma and Devon who are absolutely incredible. Most recently Emma has coloured and styled my hair and it looks amazing. A natural balayage with a sun kissed look perfect for summer! Definitely would recommend this salon to all!”

“Been coming here for couple of years now, probably once a month sometimes twice a month. I was using them for around 6 months and then I brought my son to them who had never had a hair cut (3 years old) and they done a fantastic job. I’ve used a few different places around Watford but the service is top quality here, hence why I go back. The shop itself could do with a makeover in my honest opinion and I’m sure at some point it will but “you should never judge a book by it’s cover” sometimes the best places look like the worst from the outside but i fact this place is a diamond in the rough. Reasonably priced considering the ever increasing cost of haircuts - I think the end result and the service in general is worth it.”

“9/8/2024: I had my hair cut by Nicola today and she was amazing. It was my first time here and I brought photos of my last cut as I wanted it the same; (my usual hairdresser for 10+ years has retired from hairdressing). Nicola was brilliant all the way through. She talked through what she was doing with my hair at each stage, checking I was ok with it and was so friendly, engaging and easygoing. She made me feel at ease from the get go and talking with her was just like having a chat with a friend. Nicola also worked incredibly quickly and efficiently; (my short hair didn't need a lot off it, but nonetheless, I think it's the quickest anybody has ever cut my hair!). I was anxious about going to a salon again, and feel I really lucked out with a hairdresser who ticked all the boxes. I was so happy that I got my next haircut booked in before I left the salon; (most of the time I tend to leave it until my hair is driving me up the wall!). A massive thank you Nicola, and thank you Hair connections!”

“I recently visited Skechers and had a fantastic shopping experience. They offer a wide range of shoes and trainers for both women and men, catering to all tastes and preferences. The store was impeccably clean, creating a pleasant shopping environment. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional staff. Although I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who assisted us, his associate number (823855) was on my receipt, and he deserves recognition. He was incredibly attentive and went the extra mile to help us find the perfect shoe size. His polite and friendly demeanor made our shopping trip enjoyable. It's evident that the staff at Skechers take customer service seriously. With the combination of an extensive selection of footwear and a staff that's ready to assist when needed, I have no doubt we'll be returning to Skechers for our future shoe needs. “I really enjoyed everything about this place. They have different style rooms depending on where you prefer to eat. I ordered the goats cheese and beetroot as the starter which was fantastic. I got the side of the tomato beef ragu pasta which was amazing but exactly the right size for my small appetite that day - they also brought a whole bowl of Parmesan for me to help myself. For dessert I ordered the brownie and doughballs with Nutella which came with icecream. I personally was not a fan of the brownie or the ice cream I wish there had been the option to just have a bowl of the doughballs as I had seen in other reviews as these were amazing. The tables were quite close together and it was really quite loud. I hope they invest in some sound absorbing panels. I would recommend and will be coming back. I have been again since and the pasta was still fantastic. We also ordered the mushroom risotto however this was lacking a bit of flavour, the walnuts were a nice touch. I do have to say the staff are fantastic about making adaptions to meals to intolerances.”

“Driven past this shop many times and made a mental note that they stocked the larger sizes for men. Called in today to buy a black suit. I was met by nice friendly man who wasn't all fake smiles and over the top attention. I told our man what I wanted, he didn't even ask me my size, he gave me a once over then handed me a jacket to try. Although the jacket fitted, he got me to try another one which fitted like a glove. I then tried the trousers on which again fitted well. Next he sorted me a nice plain white shirt. This place is real old school, where you deal with experienced knowledgeable professionals. They have a massive range of clothing and footwear. Although I wasn't rushed at all, I was in and out in 10 minutes. For me this was an excellent experience and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for quality clothing, excellent service and good value for money. We should all support these wonderful independent places before they all disappear.”

“Got a Tandoori Afghan special Extra large pizza, let me tell you it was the best thing crust pizza ever with some chilli and burger sauce. The pepperoni was also a great Pizza. Nice clean shop, good sitting area. Would recommend it always. Great lunch.”
