“I use Aambal, obviously as a small store they can't compete with Supermarket prices but they're are still reasonably priced. They get bad press about selling booze but my living room is no more that 4ft from the paving and I watch young males drinking beer out of a can and these males are entering the village from Locks Bottom direction so don't put all of this alcohol disturbance down to Aambal.”

I spent time with both Natasha and Sally at their shop who inspired me with their ideas and suggestions for suitable flowers. I wanted something very natural to reflect my husband’s farming career and they excelled themselves to produce the most glorious arrangement which took my breath away and many others besides.. Their attention to detail was amazing with many little touches like blackberries and herbs. They had just caught it so right and it has even lasted well with a bit of misting and I am enjoying it almost a week later. “It maybe a mini version of a usual H&B store, but, the staff here are so helpful, resourceful having vested interest in the welfare of the customer over just selling anything off the rack. Special thanks to Lesley and Antonina, they have always been nice to my family, given us useful tips, advises and product information. Also on how best we can use our H&B loyalty card and deals to save money. They even sweetly pamper my little one and she loves going to the store for her dose of healthy snacks. As the store is small, I usually order my items online and it quickly gets delivered for pick up from this local store. I have been visiting H&B stores for years, but, when we moved local, I found the service in this store way more personalised, warm and welcoming. Keep up the great work!”

“To be hounest when i first used the shop they didnt seem to welcome me and there paypoint never worked i was kinda put off by this, i know paypoints are a zero mark up profit so i guess they didnt like you just using the store for just the zero profit benefits as these are used in shops to attract customers to buy items then top up there elcetric or gas , but as i became a regular due to prices in another nearby shop , after a while all of a sudden there paypoint always worked lol and they became more friendly now i wont vist many other small convenience stores because they are atualy nice people when you get to know them and become a regualar customer - husband and wife run store”

Came across Delkan Plumbing and got the engineer to check the situation. Engineer not only serviced the boiler to fix the heating but also fixed the plumbing issue.
