“Visited Saturday for a dinner without reservation. Food was great, portion side was good too. Desserts were different and I was pleasantly supriced. Well done. Friendly and polite waiter.”
“Mohammed gave me the best service for such a small shop, served with a smile and a great conversation with food made in from of me. Great takeaway!”
“A great little friendly pub, as legend goes apparently Dick Turpin the highway robber used to hide in the chimney, has lots of history and a quaint little pub, when we are in the area staying with friends we always go there for a drink or few, they also have a great selection of beers and drinks.”
“Met with friends to have an evening meal. All the staff were very very friendly and very efficient. Food was top class, excellent. Really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you”
“Lived dagenham years ago always went here every Friday night after a few beers kebabs excellent staff always smiling and friendly”
“Food was amazing and delicious. The service was tremendous. Made us feel very welcome with a toddler, the staff were very attentive.”
“Lovely little restaurant located just as you come into the highstreet by traffic lights. Very efficient staff and very polite. Only small so reservation recommended.”
“Although it was a weekday the restaurant was very busy. The tables are close together but we felt we had our own 'space'. The food was delicious, staff very pleasant & we would recommend them. Definitely visit again.”
“I had a lovely meal here with some friends. Have not been for a few years but had massively improved. Despite it being a busy evening with a party, the service was impressively smooth and friendly. Our waiter, Callum, was really friendly and helpful and made our experience even better. The food was genuinely great and what you expect from a country pub. The Christmas decorations and open fires made it that much more welcoming, relaxed and cosy.”
“Such a lovely restaurant, the Christmas food is so good. We come back year after year for our annual Christmas girls’ meal - we bring our tribe of children and the staff are just so lovely and accommodating. Honestly, the service is sometimes slow but then it has been busy when we’ve been. I’ve been as a family, when it’s quieter, and it’s been a lot quicker. The food is reasonably priced but you don’t mind paying because the food is so, so, so good! (they have a great dessert selection). I really enjoy the lovely food here and would recommend this for a lovely meal out, not just at Christmas but all year round.”
“Wanted to come on and write a review. To say that the flower arrangement for my Mums funeral was absolutely outstanding. It was exactly what we asked for and people said how beautiful it was. So even though it was a very sombre event. The flowers lifted everybody’s mood. So thanks to all of you who contributed in making such a truly beautiful display. Christine Harris.”
“Branded clothes with reasonable prices.”
“We were looking for a venue for our wedding reception which felt down to earth and fun but still beautiful and grand when we stumbled on The Old Brewery. We honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue! From our very first call, Tommy completely understood us and our vision and exactly how we wanted the evening to feel. His support and communication throughout the process was exceptional (which isn’t always the case with wedding vendors!) and he instantly put us at ease. We weren’t very well versed with planning big events like this so we really appreciated the checklists he would send which helped us to get organised! We had several meetings at the pub to go over food, drinks, and décor, and each time Tommy made us feel like everything was possible. No request was ever too big or too small. He even liaised directly with our suppliers where necessary, which was such a huge help. When we arrived on the day, the venue was beautifully decorated exactly as we had imagined. The food and drinks were fantastic, with so many of our guests commenting on how much they enjoyed them. The entire evening ran seamlessly, all thanks to Tommy and the amazing team at The Old Brewery, who made sure everything was perfect. What makes it even more special is knowing we can return any time for a meal or a drink and relive the memories of the best day of our lives! Thank you The Old Brewery for giving us such a magical experience.”
“Great hotel overall. Didn’t like that a coworker couldn’t eat in the dining area with outside even though we were both staying at the hotel and one of us was buying dinner there. Location is superb to see London attractions. Bed was comfortable, rooms are small but nice.”
““We’ve been coming to this wonderful spot for over a decade. A true hidden gem in Tottenham! The food is always delicious, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. It’s a place where we feel right at home. Our son can’t get enough of the lamb chops at Adana Sofrasi, and the grilled sea bass and seabream are equally delightful. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly!””
“We had a party for 30 people and the food served was amazing. We had Pappadums, chutneys and salads for appetisers, followed by Fish Cutlets, Vegetable Beetroot Croquettes for starters. Then arrived the Mutton Kosha, Alu Gobi and Yellow Dal Tadka for Mains with Pulao rice and Naans. We finished with Nolen Gurer Sondesh, a Bengali dessert. Professional service and a great chef serving good food while located just within a 5 min walk from Camden tube station.”
“Very nice atmosphere. Felt very welcomed. Typical Irish joint”
“Proper classic pub in London. The pints were on point and the vibes were immaculate. The staff were super nice, I think the girl serving us is called Chelsea. She was very attentive and was super cautious with my partners allergies and catered to our every need. Can't recommend this place enough!”
“Incredible food, steaks and all meats cooked to perfection. We took advantage of the two for one offer on Tuesdays. Will definitely be back!”
“One of the best Neapolitan pizzas in London. Tasted better than their branch in Naples. We just walked in. We didn’t need to book it online.”
“We visited Saki purely by chance after watching a film at the nearby cinema. The menu looked attractive and the restaurant was pretty busy, but not full, at 7pm on a Sunday evening. Inside it's a fairly basic environment but really you're here for the food. On that score Saki is notably excellent. We started off with some duck gyoza and smoked eel sushi. The latter was exquisite with the eel and rice arriving warm with a lovely freshness - and the gyoza was tasty too. For the main course I decided on raw tuna with a wasabi crust along with some soup. The tuna was really excellent; soft but meaty with a subtle heat from the wasabi. All in all the food was really very good - which is probably why there was a constant stream of deliveries heading out of the door. I can see us returned to Saki again as the dishes were lovely and not crazy expensive. We were well looked after and the all-you-can-eat menu sounds like it's worth a try.”
“A Hidden Gem for Authentic Japanese Cuisine! I especially loved the chef's signature Volcano rolls, which were not only beautifully presented but also bursting with unique flavors. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Japanese cuisine. Can't wait to come back!”
“Booked a table at German Gymnasium last minute on Sunday and had a great time. The food was exceptional and the service was spot on. The staff were really attentive and even stored our luggage while we ate, which was a nice touch. We ordered a couple of pints of lager that turned out to be quite flat, but we didn’t realise until our third round that it wasn’t meant to taste like that. We mentioned it to the team, who confirmed it was just a bad batch and kindly took the two off the bill. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with great food and friendly service – would happily visit again.”
“Visited Al Baik Restaurant (W3 6LE) on 19/10/25. Tried the Mixed Grill Al Baik with rice and chips, plus some hummus. Everything was super tasty! Generous portions and really friendly service. Definitely recommend!”
“I recently dined at Uncle Toni's Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The menu at Uncle Toni's Grill is diverse, focusing on grilled specialties. I started with the grilled tuna steak, which were perfectly seasoned and succulent. For the main course, I chose the wilde see bass cooked to my exact preference. The service at Uncle Toni's was top-notch. Uncle Toni's Grill Restaurant is a must-visit for grill enthusiasts. The expertly prepared dishes, excellent service, and pleasant atmosphere make it a standout choice. I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu.”
“Amazing experience for me my wife and daughter of two years old. Fabulous set menu at a reasonable price including a child menu for free. Drinks were a bit pricy even though we had non alcoholic at 14 each. Loved the opera. Food was decent and halal which was a big bonus!”
“We had a beautiful meal here and booked it through The Fork where we managed to get a generous discount. Staff were attentive and pleasant especially the lovely lady who made sure we had everything we needed. The serving sizes aren't as big as we're used to at other Mediterranean restaurants, but found that it was enough to satisfy the whole family, but don't expect huge portions here. They however do not disappoint in taste so everyone's still very happy and looking forward to our next visit.”
“lovely food… recommend the tarka dall and the Z/M chicken special just right with the “heat” … looks like i got a new favourite in the area!”
“Quiet, but definitely not souless. A great place to meet friends because you can actually hear them. Wonderful pizzas and a calm, chilled atmosphere in a charming restaurant with exceptionally clean toilets.”
“We were drawn in by a lovely member of the restaurant staff - Najmin - with samples of tandoori fries which were delicious! Mix of bench/tables, mellow lights and background music create a nice atmosphere. A central open sided kitchen means you can watch the food being made. Food is delicious with a range of spice levels to suit taste although non spicy options are limited. Suitable for family outings, couples, solo adventures etc Overall would highly recommend. Special mention to Najmin for being so friendly, kind and welcoming - an asset to the restaurant.”
