“Just across the road from Snaresbrook station, it was my first time walking in on my way home. Immediately, the aroma hits you and then you can see exactly where it's coming from as the chefs are cooking everything in the open kitchen behind the counter. The service is friendly and accommodating and everything looks clean and well organised. I only ordered the Mogo (cassava fries) as it was 10:15 in the evening and I didn't want anything too heavy. Plus you don't see cassava served in many places. I took a menu to peruse as I'm sure I'll be back.”
“I only ever order from here when I want Thai food! It’s honestly my favourite spot in North london. So tasty and authentic, portion sizes are great and the standard is consistently great too! My favourites are the Tom Yum soup, Thai basil chicken and the drunken noodles. Mak aroy! Izzy x”
“Very nice Thai food in the city. Very good service from the waiters, quick turn around with our orders. Was a busy evening, but we had no complaints.”
“Everything from the quality of each dish to the interaction with everyone from the personnel was amazing. I had a better experience than some 2 Michelin star restaurants I've been to. My courses were delightful (as a big fan of meat) and the dishes of my partner (vegan) were amazing too. The lunch menu combination was great and the recommended cocktail from our waitress (not on the menu) was a perfect fit for the taste profile of the strawberry souffle dessert. 10 out of 10 in all aspects.”
“First time at Oodles and was not disappointed. Friendly welcome, explained how to order and the food was so so good. Did not wait long at all and great portions that kept me full for the rest of the day. Will definitely be my go to place the next time I'm in the area. Great experience.”
“That was delicious. £20 each. There was a great Halloween deal with 2 free cocktails and a free magnet! All the noodles were the delicious - the bone marrow noodles was a specific highlight!”
“Came here with one of my friends on a tuesday for their tuesday steak and frites £15 deal, food was great ,vibes were good and the service was good . i’m not a drinker but the Pinot Grigio was really nice. The only thing i didn’t really like was how close tables were to each other as it felt a bit crowded but besides that it was fine.”
“A lively and authentic Irish Pub. Staff are sound, the guinness is very very good and they also sell Meanies- a touch of class. Go”
“We had our wedding ceremony and then our evening party / reception in The Melrose Room, upstairs in The Bulls Head. Karolina and Aneta organised everything brilliantly for us and all went without hitch. All the staff were great but special thanks go to Ben, Jack and Jacob who kept the drinks flowing for 60 people through the night. The Melrose Room is perfect for a stylish gathering overlooking the Thames in Barnes. Highly recommended.”
“The Clissold Arms is an absolute gem! The staff are the highlight - they are incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming. They always make a big effort with my Grandma and say hello etc. We had her 90th birthday party there and it was all perfect. The Greek food is brilliant, generous portions and always fresh and delicious! Apparently the Sunday roast is great but I haven’t had it. Lots of vegetarian options too. Highly recommend!”
“The best pub In SouthWest, they have a pool table, juke box, darts and Karaoke on a Friday and Saturday.”
“Just fantastic food! We had the ham and rabbit pie for two and it was really excellent - wish we could have substituted roast potatoes for new potatoes but apart from that, it was really great. Nice service. Complimentary still and sparkling water and great service and atmosphere. Highly recommended”
“I had an excellent meal and drink for two on my first visit to the Durrell Arms since its recent renovation. The burger was one of the nicest I've had in a pub, the atmosphere is relaxed, and our service led by Nishi was very friendly. Also, a decent pub quiz on a Tuesday night for those interested!”
“Fantastic Sunday roast. Best pork crackling I think I have ever had, and a tasty piece of pork. My wife had the chicken which I tried and it was equally delicious. Dog friendly too. Worth getting here early on a weekend as they can generally find you a table even though they were pretty fully booked.”
“Ale, Art & Atmosphere at Sir Richard Steele – Haverstock Hill Located in the heart of Steeles Village, just a short walk from Chalk Farm and Belsize Park, Sir Richard Steele Pub is a North London institution with a bohemian spirit and Victorian bones. Dating back to the 19th century, it’s long been a haunt for artists, musicians, and locals who appreciate a pub with personality. The interiors are eclectic and theatrical — mismatched furniture, vintage posters, and curios tucked into every corner. There’s a piano, a fireplace, and even a secret snug if you know where to look. The vibe is warm, welcoming, and slightly eccentric — in the best way. The pub serves craft beers, classic ales, and modern cocktails, with a rotating selection that caters to both traditionalists and trend-chasers. The beer garden is a hidden gem — leafy, relaxed, and ideal for sunny afternoons or cozy evenings under the lights. Food-wise, the menu offers modern pub fare with vegan and clean-eating options, plus BBQs, tapas, and roasts depending on the season. There’s also a generous happy hour, live music, and something happening most nights — from quiz nights to DJ sets. Under new management since 2019, the pub has returned to its roots, restoring much of its original charm and drawing back its loyal crowd. Guests praise the friendly staff, lively atmosphere, and affordable drinks, making it a standout in a neighbourhood full of options.”
“This is a proper boozer. One of the few remaining in London. Tracey and Adam behind the bar will make you feel welcome and the prices are amazingly low! Pool table, music, live sport. What more could you want!?! Fully recommend the Guinness too, which is even rarer!”
“Wow where do I start?? This place is just amazing. The atmosphere is great. Such a wide selection of Beer and Wine. The food was fantastic and such a good choice to choose from it was so good I eat it so quickly I forgot to take pics. The Green room is just fun and my husband just loved the vibe of it with the poor tables super cool. The Manager James was just absolutely awesome and welcoming, the staff were friendly and great. Fantastic atmosphere for sure. I’d definitely recommend The Lost Hour to everyone definitely a 5***** for me.”
“I visited Howdens recently to order a replacement kitchen door and was very impressed. The staff member Jayraj was especially helpful, walking me through sizes and styles until I found exactly what I wanted. The showroom is well laid-out, clean, and you can really see samples to judge quality. I found the pricing fair compared to similar places. Only downside was a small wait for the order to arrive, but all in all quite satisfied. Would use them again when I remodel other parts of my home.”
“I can't speak highly enough of our experience with Harpreet at Howdens Brentford! We had a tiny, outdated kitchen that desperately needed modernizing, and finding someone who could make it both stylish and functional seemed impossible. After disappointing visits to several kitchen designers who either couldn't nail the look we wanted or make smart use of the limited space, we reached out to Howdens, Brentford. Harpreet was amazing from day one. He came to see our kitchen on really short notice and took the time to truly understand what we were looking for. The design he came up with was exactly what we wanted - somehow making our small kitchen feel spacious while fitting in all our appliances. Even when we changed our minds multiple times during the process (sorry Harpreet!), he remained patient and professional, always ready with helpful suggestions. The end result is everything we hoped for - a beautiful, elegant kitchen that feels much bigger than it is, with plenty of clever storage solutions. If you're struggling with a challenging kitchen space, I'd definitely recommend having a chat with Harpreet. He turned what seemed like an impossible task into our dream kitchen!”
“Great takeaway. We had a bento box each. Defo have again!”
“Great restaurant with tasty food and excellent customer service. Special thanks to Tatiana who was very friendly and attentive up until we left! The portion sizes were very generous and the restaurant was clean and spacious. We didn’t wait too long for our starters or main course which was great. They have a small parking space which holds around 4 cars but there are also residential roads available to park outside restricted times. Would definitely recommend for some tasty Turkish food.”
“The Bromley Court Hotel was much better than we expected. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The staff were helpful and professional at reception and in the restaurant. We also had a really nice meal there. We will certainly come back next time we are in Bromley.”
“Really nice food. We ordered for take away. The waiting time was not very long, for 3 dishes we've been waiting around 10-15 min. We had a picnic in the park, the trip took us 15-20 min, when we arrived the food was still very hot and delicious. Very nice serving and packing. Definitely we'll try again next time.”
“Best Turkish kebap around Mill Hill and Edgware. Use to live just around the corner in 2007-2009 then moved to Harrow but still come here for food. Been a customer for 18 years and never once disappointed. Good service, friendly staff, excellent quality of food and good portion size. Absolute gem”
“Visited the Ramblers Rest pub for Father’s Day and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. It’s also a dog-friendly pub, which was a huge plus as we brought our dog along and she was made to feel just as welcome! For food, I had the king prawns to start, the beef roast for my main, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, every single dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!”
“I'd highly recommend Anderson Sinclair for their first class service and expertise. We engaged Anderson Sinclair to help design our kitchen as part of a planned extension and they couldn't have been more helpful in working with us. From designing every element, to sharing their know-how, from sending colour samples / brochures to our door, to arranging showroom visits on our behalf with suppliers - they really went the extra mile to make sure all our questions were answered. If you are looking for a trustworthy, friendly, and creative team that can build wonderful bespoke kitchen designs, then I'm certain you'd be happy with Anderson Sinclair.”
“My husband and I had a lovely lunch which was tasty, full of flavour and really good portions. We were hosted by the lovely Danisha and the charming Kat. There was a good range of options to choose from for a lunchtime along with a range of delicious organic drinks. Would fully recommend a visit.”
“Brilliant service directly from the Meghna. The Uber driver had carelessly dumped the delivery spilling part of an order and when we contacted the Meghna to ask about re ordering, knowing this was not their mistake, they came out with a new order despite us being out of their catchment. We have been ordering from the Meghna for over 30 years and their service has always been as amazing as their food.”
“Popped in for a very quick food stop 10 mins before our train, did not expect the food to slap so hard. Had chicken and dumplings, and veg patties. All were delicious. Would come back.”
“I’ve been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is always tasty, portions are generous, and the prices are very good value for money. Definitely one of my go-to spots!”
