“The Assistant Joeriman was excellent, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Her friendly manner was exceptional. We will definitely recommend her and Dreams to friends and family. We will be back. Thank you.”
“Lovely food and a fabulous service! (Nim) the owner always goes above and beyond! Every time we visit is perfect & to top it off they play thai music in the back ground such a nice relaxing restaurant to visit as always.”
“Great place for chilling out with friends. Me and my mate go around there to play some pool every weekend, never had a bad experience. The staff is nice and very helpful. Really recommend this place.”
“Best Chinese in the area. If you like spice try number 38 General Tso. I had with Beef and great flavours.”
“First time trying this place with my family. We loved it! He also gave us a free hummus dip and salad. Thank you! We will come back for sure”
“Takeaway Chinese and fish and chips. Good size portions of Chinese food so be careful not to order too much! Chef very helpful for ordering gluten free options and changing ingredients to remove gluten.”
“Slight bias here as it's my local! Regardless, They still serve the best pint of Guinness I've ever had outside of Ireland. If you're hungry the food is decent and reasonably priced. Friendly atmosphere and great staff! Laura, Natalie and Holly you are loved! Thank You. Rob X”
“Brilliant pub. Inside space can be a bit of a squeeze at times but mostly very spacious and the beer garden is great and has a children’s play area. But above all are the staff - genuinely take an interest and are just fantastic. They always go above and beyond to make you experience the best it can be. Love going here!”
“Food was amazing, absolutely no complaints about the evening. Our server Emese was amazing, she was funny, polite, and very kind. Very much enjoyed our evening. The food here was better than a previous Michelin starred restaurant we ate at the night before. Absolutely recommend!”
“I always enjoy this characterful, charming pub, and on my latest occasion was delighted to find the presence of two new pub cats, black, and apparently siblings, about 9 months old! The pub is intriguing as has portraits everywhere, interesting decor, and certainly its own atmosphere. I always like chatting to the staff, and on this occasion my visit cheered me up during a bad time. They have some cask ales, nice wines, and an appetising menu at fair prices. I look forward to my next vist to this lovely old boozer.”
“Georgia runs a amazing pub, i came here because i was in the area and it was a amazing experience, the Guiness is great and the vibe is amazing!”
“Lovely dim sum and main me u. Hidden gem in the suburbs of zone 4. Also competing against cheaper options at nearby bang bang oriental but worth the visit. They really care about feedback and explained to us why some things werent available, as they operate zero waste. Will be back.”
“I seek out Georgian food anytime I have the opportunity, so I have to visit this place whenever I'm in London. It is definitely one of the best Georgian restaurants I have ever been to (and I've been to a lot - in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Greece, and the US). The food is absolutely divine, the restaurant atmosphere is cozy, and the service is great as well. Highly recommend the vegetarian stew - Ajabsandali. You won't be disappointed!”
“We enjoyed a delicious meal here. We all highly recommend each of the dishes we had - bruschetta, spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti and meatballs, penne arrabiata and gorgonzola pizza. Service was quick and staff were friendly without being overbearing. Thank you for a nice evening out!”
“Authentic Italian cuisine in London, best pizza ever! I had an amazing time with my friend, special thanks to Svitlana and Vanessa that made me feel like home, definitely coming back to try the other dishes”
“I been living in London for 10 years and I try many Italian restaurants. Last night I went for first time to TABERNA ETRUSCA . And I was amazed by the goodness of the food. I finally heard the flavours of home. The service was excellent thanks to the professionalism of Gabriel the assistant manager. And Also the atmosphere was lovely.”
“Popped in with a group on Tuesday night. Happy to find a table for the 7 of us, especially since we hadn't booked. Good choices on the menu including vegetarian options, and the food was delicious. Very friendly and efficient staff.”
“I am Cantonese! It is the authentic Cantonese food! Much better than Chinese town’s! Highly recommended! Roast duck rank no.1 in my heart!”
“I had passed by Gold Mine many times and noticed there always seemed to be a queue of people waiting outside during the day. I checked online and found they are popular for their dim sum but also their roast meat. I decided to pay them a visit as I love duck and pork dishes. My first impression was good as they were happy for me to make a reservation for one person and were very responsive to my requests. I had a three-course meal of Deep Fried Crispy Aromatic Duck, Roast Meat Rice (BBQ Pork and Crispy Pork) and Banana Fritters. I had also planned to have the House Special Bean Curd but had no room after my main course. All the dishes I had were delicious. The duck was probably the best I have ever had. It was crispy on the outside and the meat was not at all dry but succulent. I had no problem finishing all the pancakes. I asked for egg fried rice and it was well cooked, along with the two types of pork. The pork meats were full of flavour but not overpowering. The banana fritters were a great end to the meal. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was also very good. The servers were attentive but not at all intrusive and I did not have to wait very long at all between courses. One thing to note is that the restaurant was rather noisy and not the best place for a quiet or intimate meal. I was glad that I had my noise cancelling headphones with me. I would also recommend making a reservation, as it was very busy. I definitely recommend Gold Mine if you fancy having Chinese cuisine, especially their roast meat dishes. I hope to make another visit soon to try their dim sum, as it looks very good.”
“We had a very good experience enjoying food at Tokii with chef Patrick. He not only crafted each piece with precision but also took the time to explain the sushi — from the origin of the fish to the balance of rice and seasoning. I love the atmosphere, with dark wood and soft lighting make it very chill and relax”
“The food was delicious and very fresh. We ordered the Ichi Boat Deluxe, which was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The atmosphere was lovely — quite intimate, with a beautiful view. Our server was excellent — she was attentive and gave us great advice. We’re really looking forward to coming back!”
“Me and my boyfriend had our anniversary dinner here. My boyfriend got a pork dish, I do not recall what it was called, but it was so amazing. I had gotten the pasta, and it was so nice. The food is amazing here, and yes it is a bit pricey but it is so worth the money because the taste and the quality is amazing. We also got a salted caramel dessert and it was so nice, and the chef even took the time to write happy anniversary, on request. The atmosphere is also very nice, and the interior design is very very nice and sophisticated. Thank you so much for the amazing customer service!!”
“Nice small traditional pub tucked just off Piccadilly. Prices seemed reasonable for the area with a beer, wine and crisps coming to under £16. Was quiet when I popped in on a bank holiday Monday afternoon, down to there being no music on and a hushed atmosphere. It was nice and peaceful though. A mixed crowd of locals and American tourists. Everyone seemed pleasant.”
“Great little pub with nice atmosphere, a good selection of drinks including ales and ciders. Food is delicious too and not too pricey.”
“I used to come here every sunday night after training with the group of friends before covid and a series of lockdowns. These friends knew this pub and the landlord for many-many years. Lockdown has bloody killed this pub, unfortunatly. I was in the area and poped to this place to check ot out. I am glad that I found it open again and fully functioning under new ownership. But this once fully packed place was absolutely empty, only staff and the owner. I want and I wish this place be busy and brimming with people and life again as it once was. Wishing lots of luck to the staff and its new owner.”
“We really enjoyed our first meal at Crispy Dosa. We ordered pani poori, bhel poori, Mysore Dosa and mix veg uthappam. Service was excellent, food was delicious, and the portions just right. Our daughter (4) and son (10months) liked the pani poori and uthappam best (their first time having these dishes). Dad's dosa was too spicy for them but was enjoyed by the adults so quickly I didn't take a picture! Atmosphere has a nice chilled out canteen vibe, and we were the only table at the time.”
“We have been coming here for years and the food and service has always been excellent. This is a great restaurant that we would highly recommend!”
“My husband and I had a desi breakfast and keema allo, which is literally the most authentic Lahori breakfast one can have in London.”
“Had another great meal at Lal Akash. This time I went for the Railway Lamb Curry and it was spot on, tender lamb, rich sauce and just the right amount of spice. You can tell everything’s made with care. The staff were lovely as always, and the place has such a warm, welcoming feel. It’s the kind of restaurant where you instantly feel comfortable. Definitely one of my favourite spots in the area.”
“Our last walk of the year on the 30th Dec 2023, resulted in us having a small refreshment stop here. We were warmly welcomed, upon entering this gem of a traditional pub. The menu looked to be a great choice of the usual pub food. I'll note here that there's a large selection of pies. Which included their Festive December Pie. We weren't hungry on this occasion so chose their basket food, which was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. The rest room facilities were clean and tidy, and I'll note the men's was larger than most for this area. A queue for these would be a rare thing I'd say. In summary a cosy atmosphere, and warm unlike many pubs I've visited recently. I am looking forward to another walk in this area, so I can try out the pies of The George and Dragon.”
