“What an absolutely incredible experience I had finding this random gem in Orpington when out with my mum on May 3rd bank holiday. This was before restrictions were lifted so we were seated outside but given blankets to wrap up in, and had the most amazing service from our waitress Karina! She was so attentive and just a star!! It was soooo windy but that didn’t dampen our experience whatsoever. We each had a managal combo plate (spicy chicken and lamb chops which were humongous) with bulgur wheat, spicy rice, and 2 types of salad. The home made bread was lush. Cooked to perfection and even given mint tea and baklava on the house after! Couldn’t recommend this place more and thank you Ozzy for stopping to chat with us after! When we sat down they had already placed bread and sauces on the table and after we finished the bread they topped us up with more bread and to my pleasant surprise the bread was a different variety which was amazing. When the main dish came everything was of high quality the Adana meat was excellent and salad and Bulgar was great. We finished with some Turkish tea . The portions are large and the quality of the food is great. They have a full licence which means they serve a well priced selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks to accompany your meal. The decor is pretty quirky, has more of a transport cafe feel to it than late night restaurant, this wouldn't stop me eating here again but I feel it's more of a mates dinner than a romantic night out kind of place. That said the tables were clean and matching and the seats were comfy enough for a meal. The restroom was a little dated but also was clean and fully stocked with a working hand dryer. When I couldn't finish my plate I asked for the remaining food to be put into a take out box and the staff were happy to do this, they even threw in some fresh pots of chilli sauce and yoghurt! The staff were also happy to watch my stuff whilst I popped to get some extra cash from the list atm The Turkish coffee was great, I ordered sweet and it was just right for me. I'd be happy to recommend this as a great place for some nice food after a long day at work, which is exactly what I was looking for.”
