“I had their Spicy chicken sandwich, and my Mrs had Portobello mushroom & Brie cheese sandwiche, along with coffee. All of them were delicious, especially the Speciality coffee that I had, it has Irish cream, Kaluha coffee liquor. Previously I had cakes as takeaway from them, they were also delicious. Seating and ambience is very comforting and cozy. My wife loves this cafe . Owner and staff are very warm and polite. I'll highly recommend anyone who visits Sutton.”

“Happy to make changes like putting some meat separate and some in a pitta which is really useful, when they are flexible about how the food is given to you and they aren't precious about a set menu. Only thing I'd point out to them is to make sure to use a set of tongs to turn the raw chicken skewers over, and once this is cooked on the outside, move to a different part of the grill and finish it off, by using another pair of tongs. You'd avoid any chance of cross contamination this way. Same goes for the pittas and wraps being warmed up - use another clean pair of tongs to avoid customers having second thoughts about their stomachs getting through the night ok..”

“Relaxed service. Perfect cheese burger for £3. Perfect chocolate sundae. Chicken burger was so tasty it forced me to slow down to savour it which was another superb experience. I visited Bar + Block in Sutton and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Jessie, who was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, she was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. Jessie anticipated our needs effortlessly and made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. She knew the menu inside out and gave spot on recommendations. It’s rare to find someone so professional yet genuinely personable, she really elevated the entire dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious, everything was cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Jessie again.”

“The cafe is a friendly place and has delicious food! I went here with my friends on a very sunny day but it was even more brilliant as we got to sit outside! The food I had, which was lemonade, a cheese and ham toastie and a Victoria Sponge Cake, was very scrumptious and it is a nice place for you and your dogs to rest your legs! If you do come to Nonsuch Park, I recommend coming here and I hope you enjoy it!”

“Visited the great new tearoom formerly known as Tashas Tearoom in Cheam Village today . Was greeted with a lovely welcome from the new owner Sally and her husband Alan straight away . Lovely homely feel to the place . Plenty of tables to sit at. We ordered drinks which came very quickly from the owners son George , lovely lad who was very helpful. We then ordered the Tuna and cheese Panini which came with some crisps and a small salad garnish, well presented and very tasty , would highly recommend a visit to this cozy tearoom that will prove to be an asset to Cheam Village.”
