“After an amazing trip to Japan, where I fell in love with the food, I found Atariya Foods Kingston in Kingston, London—a true Japanese gem. Their fresh tuna and salmon are perfect for making my own sushi, and the skilled chefs create authentic dishes. We’re lucky to have it! Please open a branch near Sutton Station, Sutton High Street, Sutton, London. I bought KOSHIHIKARI sushi rice, sashimi set, Mizkan vinegar, and Kaitatuya seaweed to make my own sushi, plus S&B Torokeru Curry Sauce for katsu curry. I enjoyed the Tuna Blast Sushi, Yakitori, Edamame, sweet Daifuku, Goma Wakame Salad, and fresh Tuna and Salmon Lover Sushi. The Spicy Salmon Onigiri was delicious—please add a spicy salmon roe version like in Japan!”

Right by the River Thames, it’s got that perfect balance of lively atmosphere and scenic charm. The selection of restaurants and pubs along the riverside is solid — from cosy spots for a pint to more upscale dining. On a sunny day, the outdoor seating areas are buzzing, and the view of the river with the boats gently passing by is just brilliant. It’s also great for walks or bike rides, especially with the Thames Path running through. And with the town centre just a short walk away, it’s incredibly convenient. “Did the unlimited tapas, and paid the extra £5 for the full range of items. Our server was excellent, I cannot remember his name but he was very friendly! We were also in the time range for happy hour, so we got two 2-for-1 cocktails each alongside our meal. We then had about 4 rounds of food, which saved us about £100ish in total. My stand out dishes were the cheese breads with the garlic, the hot honey halloumi, the popcorn squid, the black bean quesadillas, and also the chicken wings were excellent!”

“I rate 5 star for the service as all the staff are fantastic, 5 stars for the lovely cakes, but sadly, only a 1 star for the atmos/ambience because the new owners, I believe, decided to remove the beautiful piano that I used to adore playing there. Also it was linked to constant background piano notes, cleverly playing out of the piano while no one played it. That really was quite relaxing and unique whilst enjoying the food and cakes, and after my weekly office job , I would look forward to my visits there at the weekends to unwind and sometimes play.. A great hub and centrepiece has been ripped out of the heart of the cafe. It blended in very well and also was a fine backdrop against the old churchyard opposite through the tall windows. I just was preparing my Xmas carols repertoire and some more new lyrics when I visited there last Saturday, but my piano was gone!”

“We are sushi lovers and always looking for a great sushi places. This place is very local for us, so we decided to give it a try. As we understood place opened recently, food quality is amazing, lots of ingredient and everything is super fresh! As started we took aubergine (on the photo), just delicious and then we went for rolls only, 4 in total and I cannot tell which one was better, all amazing. “When I got my order I threw out all the other Chinese Menu's I hold. The food was great and the operator listened to my requirements stating my son had a fish allergy. The food came is this very sweet and cute box. I love this place. I will order future Chinese from this company. Thank you”

“Wow!!! This is a fantastic and convenient spot to get sushi whenever you want it. This is because this sushi gourmet place has a large range of options and choice. The choices vary from the simplicity of a Nigiri to salads and big rolls. It has options of small and £10 boxes of nigiri and other sushi rolls and bigger portions of £20 that are more complicated rolls. It has deliveroo as takeaway and delivery service. However, it’s in Sainsbury’s in the centre right at the back of the store. This doesn’t mean that it has a bigger difference on this gourmet style and other Japanese restaurant. It only contains sushi and not brothers or other Japanese dishes as it’s only a Sushi Gourmet. When I go there I always get the nigiri rolls because they’re fresh and simple and also delicious. I’ve also been to other Japanese authentic restaurants and it’s different regarding the taste of the sushi because it’s not a chain but a single restaurant. However it’s not that big of a difference regarding freshness.”

Over a few short weeks it was wonderful to see how much my newborn enjoyed the different techniques and how his body changed during the course. Massively recommend this place, even above the Pho restaurant just around the corner which charges alot more!”

The homemade soups are great especially in cold days and is a great alternative. Stylish interior. Nice staff. The lady "Simona" is very friendly and she makes everyone feel welcome. When shopping in nearby Kingston Upon Thames, we always go to this cafe.If you are tired of the big branded coffee shops and you want to have a really good coffee, this is the place for you!”
