“The staff were very helpful and nice! The room was smaller than I expected, but it was clean. I really liked that the room had a tiny fridge and an electric water heater. The location is great! Close to Edgware road station, which allowed me to go to several touristic places easily. The restaurant options around the hotel are very diverse and I really enjoyed having close by foods from so many different cultures.”

“Lovely place with some of the best coffee I’ve had - intense flavour without the bitterness that a lot of the bigger coffee franchises have. Pastries+cakes looked really fresh and nice as well. Ambience is great, and the owner is highly invested and really kind to his staff. He designed everything himself, which I think is so impressive! A gem in the local area and deserves more recognition, don’t get your coffee anywhere else.”

“Excellent food! We recently found out about Bang Bang and we’re able to try T.H.E Formosa and we’re delighted at how good it was. We had the popcorn chicken, bao, and pak choi. The chicken was perfect - it was crispy and succulent and so tasty. The bao was just as delicious as was the steamed pak choi. The pak choi in particular was fantastic. It had a lovely smoky flavour and came with a lovely dressing. There’s lots to choose from at Bang Bang but T.H.E Formosa is definitely my favourite!”

“Me and my mum came in last minute and we were served straight away. The service was amazing. We ordered a chicken shish, rice and sweet potato fries to split and it was delicious there was plenty of food for the two of us. Best chicken shish that we’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was lovely very nicely decorated. Would definitely come again.”

“Feels like home in Italy! Mascalzone is such a wonderful Italian restaurant that truly makes me feel like I was born there. The space is comfortable and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. The food is delicious — our favorites are the Ravioli Aurora and Pizza Quattro Stagioni, both always cooked to perfection. The staff, especially the girls, are very nice and attentive, which adds to the warm atmosphere. Prices are fair, and you absolutely have to try their amazing desserts! If you want authentic Italian flavors and a cozy vibe, Mascalzone is the place to be.”

“Best Turkish kebap around Mill Hill and Edgware. Use to live just around the corner in 2007-2009 then moved to Harrow but still come here for food. Been a customer for 18 years and never once disappointed. Good service, friendly staff, excellent quality of food and good portion size. Absolute gem”

“Amazing restaurant with kenyan specialities like Mishkaki, kachumbari, ugali, sukuma wiki and a lot more! You can also buy halua, achari, mabuyu and some other non food items from kenya. Food was delicious as was the passion juice. The desert surprise was absolutely amazing! All in all, a great place and we will be back!”

“Just had a fabulous birthday party at Samis for 24 people. The table was beautifully laid in the colours I requested, the food was exactly what I asked for and the service was excellent. It was so successful that the guests didn't want to leave! A true sign of a successful evening!”

Staff were lovely - we were served by a young lady who was super friendly and helpful. The chef popped out of the kitchen at one point too, to check we were enjoying it and to talk us through the satay sauce (which is so good we had to ask for extra!).”

Fried chicken in black bean sauce was amazing, they also give lots of fried chicken thigh pieces accompanied by ginger and herb rice - I asked for the meal to be a little spicy and they kindly accommodated. Really good value for money will be coming back here again next time for sure! We ordered two plates of food the first time but really 3 people could share one plate! Had to buy takeaway containers to take the excess food home.”

Place needs a revamp. Mr Wing gets focused on cooking. He will come to counter if you cough, shout or talk a lot.”
