“Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean! Seems like they prefer people to book in advance, but they accepted our unannounced group of five, and we all seriously enjoyed our food. Definitely going back.”

“Lovely local café with loads of vegan breakfast options. We went for the vegan brunch platter with sausages, bacon, pancakes, fruit, maple syrup, jam and whipped cream. The biscoff frothee coffee was divine! The owner is very friendly and gladly discuss any alternative options so don't be shy! Free wifi and garden dining (currently closed due to refurb).”

“I've been here four times and I cannot believe that I haven't reviewed this place yet. First of, this is the only Thai restaurant I've been to four times (and I don't live close). Food is always amazing, and service is always fast, attentive, and welcoming. It's not your typical Thai restaurant, but the flavors are there. Last time we went we ordered the turmeric roti, nice, flaky and full of flavor. We also got the salted turmeric flossed tiger prawns, and I recommend two each (by default the order comes with three, but you can add one more), the crispy pork belly, and the beer battered chicken. We weren't that hungry last time, no none of the larger dishes. We've had their larger ones before, and we were always happy.”

“I first became of the Sea Breeze food at the Leyton Carnaval on 13th July. I was absolutely amazed with taste and flavour of the meal I had. On Friday 25th July I visited their establishment in Walthamstow with my brother. I We ordered oxtail, rice and peas with steamed cabbage. My brother got carried away, he ordered oxtail 3 boiled dumplings and steamed cabbage, his next choice was, Ackee.and saltfish 3 boiled dumplings plus one fried dumpling and a bottle of their homemade sorrel and ginger drink, he later told me the taste of the ginger was just right, while the fall-off the bone oxtail was delicious, and that he really enjoyed the Ackee and saltfish. I can attest that this establishment serve really tasty and delicious food, very flavourful. The Sea Breeze will definitely be my favourite place to eat even though I’ll be travelling from CannHall Road, E113NH. Thank you for such for the delicious food with perfect portions.”

“Went here for a Valentine’s Day dinner as Indian food is my girlfriend’s favourite. We have been to so many Indian restaurants over the years and quite a few expensive and Michelin star ones, but this was our favourite in terms of quality of food and at a decent price. The salmon was soft and delicious, the Paneer Tikka was tasty and the Chicken Lollipops were so good and my personal favourite. Our mains were very good, the lamb for the Adraki Lamb Shank Bhuna was fantastic quality and taste. The waiters were really nice and the interior was cosy but stands out. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves Indian food to give this place a try.”

“Stayed in the Golders Green area for 2 days and this was by far the best service we received at a restaurant and the food was really good. It was clean, fresh, and had gluten free options. “My partner and I were recommended to try this restaurant for my birthday yesterday.(6.8.25 Jamaica independence day. So glad we did! It was a great experience from the moment we walked through the door.The food was AMAZING, great taste, flavour, presentation. BTW my partner is fussy when it comes to food, especially being a fellow Jamaican who can cook, he found no fault and was complimentary from the moment he tasted his starter through to the desert. “We were in London recently and we wanted to try somewhere different to the other places we had eaten at previously, and we were so glad we discovered Orient. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady who gave my girlfriend advice (as she doesn't like too spicy food) on some recommendations, and I was delighted to see that they done an extensive curry range (as some of the places we had visited in Chinatown previously did not have any curry's on the menu). The decor was very nice and the place was very clean. ALL the staff we dealt with were so friendly and they could not have been anymore helpful, and we were given ample time to browse the menu at their extensive menu range. The service was very quick. On our first visit I got prawn crackers and sesame prawn toast for a starter. And the main I chose a beef curry with Thai fragrance steamed rice. The beef was absolutely beautiful, it was thinly cut and was SO tender and perfectly cooked. The rice was perfectly cooked. My girlfriend got Spring Rolls for a starter, and for her main she got sweet & sour spare ribs, and she said it was absolutely beautiful. On our second visit I got a lamb curry with the Thai fragranced steamed rice and my girlfriend got Pork belly with preserved vegetables and noodles and beansprouts, and again it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Another thing I will add is we both got the Lychee juice, and it was lovely, and it went very nicely with our food, and we had not seen this type of juice at other places. And again on our second visit the staff were exceptionally friendly and the service again, very quick. We both were of the same opinion that the Orient will be our go to place for a Chinese meal when we are in London, and we both cannot wait to go back again and sample their delicious food again.”

Their plating was really well done, just like fine dining. The taste of the food was just as good as the presentation, and the amount of care put into making it can be felt through tasting the dishes, especially the wagyu beef roll which just melts in your mouth. Experience was better than I expected as the server we had, which looked like the manager was really good at doing her job, and the way she interacted with us was like she was a friend, which shows how experienced she was at dealing with customers. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed it and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a new place to eat Japanese food with a fair price around London, Soho.”

“The community rebuilt this park cafe and it is an excellent facility enjoyed by everyone who uses the park and Claygate Primary School. On a sunny weekend you will see many groups and families playing games, having fun, eating ice creams, with drinks etc. Food gets 4 stars only because it is not Michelin starred.”

“Wow!!! This is a fantastic and convenient spot to get sushi whenever you want it. This is because this sushi gourmet place has a large range of options and choice. The choices vary from the simplicity of a Nigiri to salads and big rolls. It has options of small and £10 boxes of nigiri and other sushi rolls and bigger portions of £20 that are more complicated rolls. It has deliveroo as takeaway and delivery service. However, it’s in Sainsbury’s in the centre right at the back of the store. This doesn’t mean that it has a bigger difference on this gourmet style and other Japanese restaurant. It only contains sushi and not brothers or other Japanese dishes as it’s only a Sushi Gourmet. When I go there I always get the nigiri rolls because they’re fresh and simple and also delicious. I’ve also been to other Japanese authentic restaurants and it’s different regarding the taste of the sushi because it’s not a chain but a single restaurant. However it’s not that big of a difference regarding freshness.”
