“We had a business dinner here on a Thursday night. Wasn’t that busy, got a quieter table. Food is authentic, and staff is polite. Loved the onion bhaji, prawns from the platter. Momos were great. Overall a tummy full meal, guaranteed burps. We needed with hot gajar ka halwa with ice-cream, it was the show stopper for sure. 100% recommended.”

A special shoutout to our server, Basil, who made our visit extra special. His service was warm, attentive, and seamless — truly a credit to the restaurant. We kicked things off with the Pani Puri, and wow… what an experience! The theatrical smoke presentation caught us by surprise and created a real “wow” moment at the table. Not only did it look incredible, but the flavour was spot on — tangy, fresh, and authentic. As someone who’s extremely picky with drinks, I have to say the Virgin Strawberry Mojito was one of the best mocktails I’ve ever had — refreshing, not too sweet, and bursting with flavour. For mains, we had Mutton Biryani, Nihari Gosht, and Plain Naan. Everything was beautifully presented and packed with rich, aromatic spices. The biryani was especially comforting — warm, fragrant, and generously portioned. We ended on a high with the Mud Cake dessert (served with ice cream), and honestly, it tasted as good as it looked — soft, gooey centre, with a perfect balance of sweetness. From the gorgeous plating to the memorable flavour and excellent service, Shere Khan is a hidden gem in Enfield. Can’t wait to return!”

I indulged in the Tandoori Hot Large Pizza, a symphony of flavours so exquisitely balanced it bordered on the poetic. The crust, a golden tapestry of crispness and chew, served as the perfect canvas for a lavish medley of smoky tandoori spices, succulent chicken, and molten cheese of such ethereal texture it could only be described as mesmerizing. We got to meet and safely handle a variety of birds, understand their personalities, and generally learn about the tradition of falconry. It was a full day and the team took care of us throughout. “Try to go on one of the “steam days” when they have the giant steam engines working. The engines are a similar type and size to those used in the titanic. There’s a nice cafe inside and places to sit. Lots of informative displays dotted about the place. There is plenty of parking. Buy tickets in advance for busier days. In the same area is the waterworks steam railway.”

“My son had a great day out here, he loved the animals and they all looked well cared for. The play areas were all set out over the whole place was wasn't busy. Even during the summer holiday break. He loved climbing high. The water pillows were fun. Although a lot of adults used them as sun beds. The had a paint run and foam party event which was also enjoyed. My only gripe was that you had to book for under or over 5s yet over 5s were allowed in with there under 5 siblings. So it got a little busy and pushy towards the younger ones, as everyone wanted to get closer to where the foam was coming from. The inside soft play was huge and thoroughly enjoyed. Over all was a great day and would likely return.”

“We had the most incredible experience at Hounslow Urban Farm and I say that as a regular visitor. The staff are consistently friendly, calm and genuinely helpful. You can tell they care deeply about the animals and about giving children a proper, hands on experience rather than something rushed or staged. My son did the Ranger Experience for his birthday and he genuinely said it was the best day of his life. He fed the pigs, groomed a Shetland pony, fed and hugged the sheep and goats and was encouraged to get fully involved the whole time. The animals are clearly well loved and cared for and very friendly, which makes the experience feel safe, interactive and memorable rather than just observational. It feels personal, warm and thoughtfully run. As someone who visits regularly, I can honestly say the quality never drops. Highly recommend!”
