I had a bad experience previously at a different clinic with an practitioner who injected too much, but Kat's approach is exactly what I was hoping for - very subtle and effective. She gives great feedback on what's needed and what isn't and I appreciated her honesty, rather than trying to inject as much as possible. Alina's facial was excellent, extremely thorough and tailored to my own personal skin concerns. This will definitely be a part of my regular skin maintenance moving forward.”

“I’ve been having treatments with Kai and Abi since moving to Rickmansworth, and I couldn’t recommend them more! Kai has given me pregnancy massages as well as full-body and hot stone massages. She always pinpoints exactly where the pain is and explains how to relieve it beyond just massage. I even recommended her to my father-in-law, and thanks to her treatments he has made remarkable progress since his stroke. Over the past year, Kai and her team have worked hard to improve his circulation and muscle movement, and we’ve seen a real difference in his independence and mobility. I’ve also had treatments from Abi, including regular eyebrow waxing and tinting, as well as her incredible Korean facials. These facials have improved my skin so much that even my husband noticed the difference — especially the reduction in blackheads on my nose!”

“I started going to The Wonderlab 10 yrs ago when they opened, I am still going there now. It is a really friendly environment, great on advice on hair colouring and cuts to suit your hair and life style. Even fabulous bride and mother of the bride hair styles which we were lucky to have in 2019. The stylists are all great, so if my favourite stylist is unavailable, I have no qualms on booking in with one of the others! Hopefully The Wonderlab will carry on for another 10 years and more!”

“I first went to Duli for makeup and hair, and the service was absolutely amazing. Two weeks later, I returned for a haircut, and once again, she exceeded my expectations. She listened carefully, looked at my inspiration pictures, and made sure to achieve exactly what I wanted. I loved the haircut and how much attention to detail she put into everything. “A Proper Little Cafe - Great Find Was in Rickmansworth on a Saturday morning and looking for a proper brunch spot that wasn't a big chain. Stumbled upon Cafe Deli 122 and it was exactly what we were after. First off, it's a small place and was pretty bustling when we arrived, which is always a good sign. We managed to get the last free table. It's not a fancy spot by any means; it has that classic, unpretentious British cafe feel, which was perfect for a relaxed breakfast. The menu isn't huge, but it has all the essentials you'd want. I went for the poached eggs and my friend had scrambled eggs on a toasty bagel. You can tell they use good ingredients. My eggs were perfectly runny and served on some proper thick-cut toast. The coffee was decent too – a good, strong flat white that actually tasted of coffee, not just hot milk. Service was quick and friendly, no fuss. The lady behind the counter was managing the rush really well and still had a smile for everyone. The best part is the price. For the quality of the food, it's brilliant value. It's easy to see why it's popular with locals. If you're looking for a solid, no-nonsense breakfast or lunch that tastes great and doesn't cost a fortune, this is the place. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.”

“I visited The Old Shepherd for the first time on Saturday evening and was very impressed with everything about it. The decor and lighting help to create a great atmosphere along with the helpful and friendly staff and welcoming locals. The quality, portion size and value of the food was outstanding, I ordered a veggie burger which was the best i've ever been served in a pub and the fries were delicious too. I'm told there's live music now on most Saturdays and the artist playing was of a very high standard. Highly recommended venue worth travelling to.”

“This B/B was the most perfect location to stay in absolute comfort and attention for visiting Harry potter studio tours, we took our 8 year old grandson and booked the wizardry room as a surprise and when we arrived Marrick met us at reception and he was so friendly and took us to a double room, my grandson was a little bit bored, then he said wrong one and took him to the Harry potter room Elliots face was just amazing to witness, I can only sum this B/B in a few words Room perfect, management perfect, Continental breakfast perfect, location perfect, value for money perfect. “Been meaning to leave a review for a very long time, however managed to forget..probably due to the fantastic friendly service we always receive from the team. We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts - they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. Final shout out to Becks, Jason… our favourites… and of course Harry, Layla, Ben, Jess, Jack and Ollie. ❤️❤️❤️”

“We popped in as a friend is staying locally. The pub isn’t much to look at from the outside but the food and service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs. Attentive and fast service. Really friendly. The food was excellent. “Best pub in Croxley. Best beer, friendliest staff and all the locals go here. Never a problem getting served no matter how busy it is. Yes some of the locals do sit at the bar but that is a good thing surely! Always enough staff on. Very popular with regulars and local clubs who choose this for their functions & get togethers. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. The food was fantastic—delicious, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. There was a great variety on the menu, catering to all tastes, and everyone in our group found something they loved. The atmosphere was also a highlight. The large outdoor kids' play area kept the little ones entertained, which made our dining experience much more relaxed. Met with a professional team, that care about their work, clearly trained to a high standard. Food allergies and care were taken very seriously, on top of there being many options should you have allergies. Amazing food to top it off. Highly recommend to you all. “My great grandfather Peter Grune and his family lived in this pub. He owned several pubs but this one in particular was a favourite. I am now in my 90s! It looks like the old pubs used to be but without straw on the floor!”
