Sandra kept me updated with the progress at every stage with update photos and advice on colours and handles. I initially bought a huge chest of drawers painted in grey with copper highlights which I loved so much I contacted Sandra and commissioned 2 bedside tables, another chest of drawers and a triple wardrobe to match. My latest piece was a gorgeous black chest of drawers for my lounge. I absolutely love my furniture because they are unique and they look fantastic.”

“I came in one night last week while in London on a business trip. The team working was very helpful, knowledgeable and approachable. I sat down to enjoy a lovely vintage H. Upman and had a great chat with some of the fellows inside. Since it was close to closing time, and the shop wasn’t that busy, Sam was able to (and did) dedicate time to my relatively ‘newbie’ questions. Never did he make me feel uncomfortable for asking what might have been beginner questions. I planned on hitting a different shop/lounge the next day, but decided to come back to C.Gars again. I’m thrilled that I did. I picked up a bunch of fantastic cigars, but more than that, had a fantastic time meeting some of the regulars, and even Mitchell! Chatting with Sam, Mitchell and the other guys in the shop was an incredible experience. This is what people mean when they say cigars brings people together. Mitchell was an absolute gentleman and I tried to soak up every word he said! I can’t wait to come back to London where I’ll be exclusively shopping and smoking here. Thanks for the cigars, knowledge, great conversations and the wonderful drink that was shared by us all!”

“Amazing price for the Herman Miller chair I ordered. Around £1200 value as it was a fully specced one, but I paid £349 refurbished. You wouldn't know it wasn't new other than one spot on one leg where someone rested their foot on it. Stunning chair, super comfy and great customer service.”

“An amazing pub. The bar staff are very friendly, especially Nathan, Joanne and Patrick who are legends. Amazing drinks on tap, especially the Guinness, and great outdoor seating area especially in the summer. They show some sports on the screens in there. Also the fact you can use the Pubbl app to make the drinks cheaper and earn points is lovely.”

“This pub has a warm vibe, especially the sense of being welcome. It started with a nice chat with the publican to decide on a drink and I spent a blissful couple of hours with a cider on a warm day. While there is exposed brick all around, don’t mistake this for a hipster place and your kids are welcome up til 8pm.”
