“Food - great. Really good and taste. I recommend the chicken waffles. The special of the month Marissa eggs were great too! Service: OK. Staff could've been friendlier/more attentive. Expected more especially given the £5 service charge! Atmosphere: Good. Busy but got a seat. Nice decor and vibes. Price: London prices.”

“I stopped by Perky Blenders at Expressway and had a flat white, and it was fantastic! The coffee was smooth, well-balanced, and had a rich, velvety texture. The milk was perfectly steamed, complementing the espresso without overpowering it. The staff were friendly and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The space itself had a nice vibe—great for a quick coffee break or a casual sit-down. Definitely one of the best flat whites I’ve had in London! Will be coming back for more. Would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for quality coffee.”

“Absolutely exquisite! Three of us came here for breakfast last weekend, I had a full English breakfast and everything on the plate was superb quality and cooked to perfection. All three of us really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was very vibrant. We had great service and it was a real pleasure to eat here. They got all of the little details right as well, e.g. the napkins they provide are premium quality. All three of us are looking forward to returning the next time we're in Greenwich and everyone else's food that we saw leaving the kitchen looked amazing too. Ps. They serve their breakfast menu up to 12 o'clock whereas the two previous places we looked at stopped serving theirs earlier, this is how we ended up here as it was nearly 12 when we arrived, so a very happy turn up for the books!”

“This pub was once the place to come in Greenford. Lovely premises with enormous back garden and like a local pub is supposed to be as everybody knew everyone and newbies were welcomed and loved it. Due to later recent management, many of the locals left as it became the place NOT to be.....(we all miss you James). Like many others, I left for pastures new and found new pubs as the atmosphere was toxic at times. Popped in here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night to find this lovely pub almost empty which shocked and saddened me. The pub and the people here now are like it was way back then, friendly and welcoming however...... I know from talking to the people I know that the prices are a BIG problem..... For my particular tipple (Guinness) I can pay far,far less for a pint. This isn't central London, this is Greenford. Rumours about the owners wanting it to die and sell the land are a common theme. Marston, this place is a moneypot with some decent support. Stop the silly "offers" bull , lower your prices and bring this place up!”

“Very tasty! I didn’t expect to find a real restaurant in an airport terminal. Normally you’ll find some overpriced restaurants more for a snack, but this one offered a full high quality meal. Definitely worth the price and considering it”

“It was a stupidly hot late June day and as we were traveling back from Hampton Court Palace, we met a local whose parents also happened to be staying at the same hotel (The Selwyn) as us. We were on the last leg of four straight weeks of international travel and safari…we were EXHAUSTED and wanted a good simple dinner super close to the hotel and The Red Cow was recommended to us. The bartender was awesome, but made my day when he noticed how hot and tired we looked and brought me a pint glass filled to the brim with ice, to go with my fruity cider I was trying. Divine! Small gesture, big impact. Enjoyed a delicious dinner, football match on the tv, and we’d stay here instead of The Selwyn next visit. Also, don’t recall the name of this drink he recommended, but it was perfect at the end of a long, hot day. Thank you!”

“After a crisp autumnal walk along the marshes, we spotted this gem of a free house. The sun was setting across the canal and we were parched. A treacherous journey across the bridge; we stumbled through the doors to find there were no draught beers, alas they had two of their finest cask ales to hand. We ordered two pints of the Fullers ESB paired with a packet of scampi fries. It was absolutely sublime. What a wonderful pub.”
