“We overall love this bar and have been coming on and off for years. We first visited many years ago before they installed air con, and our complaint then was how warm it got when busy, the adding of the air con is brilliant. In recent days, we've become regulars. Where to start with the praise? Great vibe, musicals on the screens and lovely clean toilets. Lee, the doorman, is brilliant. A model bouncer and doorman. Last year, we unfortunately had an experience with a straight man who became aggressive to us and we told the bar staff who got Lee, whom proceeded to kick him out with 0 hassle to us and made us feel safe. This is our only bad experience in 5+ years of coming here as the place is great. The cocktails are inventive, delicious and bright to look at. Their new movie night Mondays is a great initiative and their changing boards of cocktails often based on musicals that have come to the city, are brilliant. The bar staff are so smiley, pleasant and love a laugh. One remembers my order every time which is special to us to be remembered. Our only complaint now, is that they're so busy some nights we never have anywhere to sit. But we're so happy they're full and business is booming!”

“Just Completed the Powerboat level two course and i can highly recommend trafford water sports centre! Chris our instructor was friendly, knowledgeable and very good at teaching and explaining the course. There was a good balance of theory and practical that it made it a really enjoyable experience! I would happily recommend this course to everyone! You won't be disappointed! A++”

“I hired Adam for my daughter’s christening party having seen reviews and videos on social media and WOW he absolutely exceeded all my expectations! The kids had an amazing time with Adam, he was so full of energy and his interaction with the kids was great! He even got the adults involved too which was really fun! They played games, danced (to some great music), he did magic and animal balloons for the kids! (You can choose a package to suit your child’s age). I 100% would use Adam again for any future events we may have and will highly recommend to family and friends going forward. If you are looking for a children’s entertainer please book Adam because you will not be disappointed. I had so many people ask me where I found Adam because he was so good! He was brilliant from start to finish with clear communication pre event and then helped us to create structure during the evening to ensure the event ran smooth. Through great song selection, he kept the dance floor full until the very last song! Thanks Dave, highly recommend!”

“Great venue for any celebration or even a nice pint on a sunny day. Whole place was spotlessly clean each time I've visited. Staff couldn't do enough for us on the night of the event and were so nice to everyone. I will definitely hire again, the setting is lovely as it is right next to the canal running through Marple. Plenty of parking space too”

“Fantastic experience today for Amelia 7th birthday. Greeted with professional and friendly staff. Introduced to our party organiser for the day who was friendly and organised. Everything was on hand from sock and wrist bands for the kids which the Becky the organiser health with and greet each child. Went to part room when children went on equipment and all shoes were in a basket and then neatly lined up ready for when they finished. Helped with gifts and setting the room up. Room hpod size and clean all ready with table set up just wanted to add some banners and ballons which becky helped with. Food fab, nuggets were real chicken! (Not reformed) becky organised singing and cut the cake for us too. We had the best most stress free party ever!!! Highly recommend 5* from start to finish!!!!”

“Really like the equipment and tables, great prices too which is another reason why here is my new go-to pool place. Staff are friendly and chatty and always looking after the place by regularly collecting glasses etc. The tables in here are great and there's many of them so you very rarely have to wait to play. I like the fact that the equipment is also of a good quality, makes playing so much better - definitely a huge upgrade compared to playing in pubs. I'd recommend here and will be coming back often. Don't listen to the degenerate 1* reviews, absolute nonsense.”

“A lovely place to go for peace and quiet, a picnic and a stroll. It's lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, even if only for an hour or so. Could do with more picnic benches in different areas around the lake. Only complaint is irresponsible dog owners, not picking after their dogs.”

“Veterans Breakfast club every Monday. Great place to pull up a sandbag and have a good old chat. Anita, Steve,Alan & Julie the fantastic 4 . Alan & Steve take your order then then even bring g it to you after Anita & Julie have worked relentlessly in the kitchen smashing out Breakfast after breakfast. All you do is sit back and drink as much tea & coffee as you can and put the world to rights. 9.30 - 11.30. The only rules are you need to book in advance so they have an idea of how much food they are going to need.”

“Love it and go to the gym most days. Very friendly people, especially Helen who has helped me lots with the equipment . Lots of cardio and strength building machines along with free weights”
