“As someone with curly hair, it's hard to find people who understand how to cut curls proper. Was pleased to find Melissa Timperly Salon where every stylist is trained and well versed in cutting and styling curly hair. Shauna took her time with me to understand my hair inspiration and what I was trying to achieve. Was kind and understanding that appointments elsewhere had left me with less than desirable outcomes. Was mindful to check in with me throughout appointment to ensure I was leaving with results I wanted. Very pleased with my hair color and the cut. Will definitely be back for Shauna again! Each member of staff was friendly and welcoming, building is secure, entire salon was bright and clean.”

“I've not had a chippy tea for a long time, and I've not been to this chippy for ever longer. Just getting over the flu I couldn't be bothered cooking so thought I'd go for Fish & Chips. It was a great decision, Im not sure if this place has a new ownership in the last few years but the Fish & chips with mild curry sauce was 10/10. Very impressed, give it a go!”

“Great food whether you want home baking, an Italian special or just a bacon sandwich. Thoroughly recommend the cappuccino with a double shot of espresso (think big flat white). Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly too. Can't recommend too highly.”

The food was delicious, portions were very generous and a huge range of choice, definitely something there for everyone! Will happily go back there again and again! “Local couple following their dream. It’s a cafe but I haven’t visited during the day. As a bar they have Neck Oil and Cruzcampo on draught. Wine and spirits available. Gets busy and buzzy Friday and Saturday. Would be great if they do snacks eg meat platters, cheese, olives etc in summer. I wish you every success.”

“I had an excellent experience with this Chinese takeout restaurant. The food was freshly prepared, flavorful, and arrived hot and on time. Their menu offers a great variety of dishes, and the portions were generous. The staff was courteous and efficient, making the entire ordering process smooth and pleasant. Personally, my favorite is the young chow fried rice. For anyone that would want to check this place out I highly recommend this dish! 10/10 must try again!”

“I have been coming here often. I have tried so many Chinese takeaways before, but none of them beat this one. Staff are very polite and kind. They always give service with a smile and go out of their way to help. They welcome me with fortune cookies. The food always arrives hot and tastes delicious. Their delivery service people come on time. The place is clean. I am astonished by the generous portions they give you. It's like one portion can feed 2 people, and I end up sharing with my daughter.”

“Called in for the first time today just as I was passing. Bought a few things then thought I’d visit the cafe for coffee and cake . Really nice small cafe. “Very good first impressions. Everything was delicious and set a really high standard. It had the right level of spice and nice combination of flavours. Chips were not soggy and my grilled chicken burger with double cheese was cooked to perfection. Service was professional and also very welcoming. Was informed food would be ready for collection within 15 minutes. And that it was. Food was Fresh. Nice little takeaway, definitely recommend.”

“Really lovely pub with a restaurant feel in the main dining area, and a super dog-friendly dining experience in the Garden Room. Our server, Charlotte, was very friendly and attentive. Really appreciated the card on our table, wishing our Mum a happy birthday, along with a complimentary drink. Only downside was the dreadful smell from drains in the ladies. Will definitely return.”

“Visited for dinner, we both wanted the pie and chips, no pies left., We then chose fish and chips and they had to check if they had fish. We were about to leave, but they had two left. The food arrived and we were pleased either the good, fish was excellent, large, chunky fish and good batter. The pub was a bit smelly, tables very sticky. Toilets really clean and tidy. Not too busy on a Monday afternoon. The pub is next to the golf course, with a great view. The pub could be so much nicer and it would increase footfall from golfers too.”

“Just back from a lovely themed night at Aspire Restaurant at Traffordd College - fabulous value and great food. Really good prices for quality drinks too. We had a 3 course meal with additional appetisers on arrival and coffee with a sweet treat at the end and 2 alcoholic drinks each including their fabulous award winning Rhubard Gin Cocktail (delicious) All in it came to £50.20 for the 2 of us plus of course we left service on top of that. So pleased to have revisited and looking forward to more meals there going forwards. Well done Aspire!”
