“I just happened upon this place as I was walking along the canal at Broadheath. A young couple were sitting on the tow path eating a pizza. “Is it good?” I asked. “Delicious” was the reply. Decided to give it a go. The owner was a delightful fella who is clearly passionate about the food he is serving. Other customers in the place were all there due to “word by mouth”. The menu has the usual stalwarts but also more authentic pizzas too. I had the Friarielli & Nduja. Delicious. The pizza dough was the freshest and lightest that I have EVER had. I felt that I’d had an authentic pizza made by someone who cares rather than a portion-controlled production line made by an employee of a massive company paying minimum wage. A wonderful discovery and I shall visit again. They have a bigger premises in Sale btw. Ciao.”

“Amazing fish and chips and peas, batter crispy generous portion, great value queues out the door good banter. Best fish and chips in New Mills have been here few times. Can't wait till our next trip to Derbyshire. Keep up the excellent service and food.”

The lamb shoulder was super tender, the chicken was delicious as was the gravy made from scratch! Loved the sides. Tiramisu and rice pudding were the perfect two desserts to keep everyone happy! “Beautiful, fine-dining restaurant with fabulous food, cooked by very talented chefs, and a wonderfully attentive service/front of house team. Thank you so much for making my aunt's 90th birthday such a special one and kindly allowing us to bring our own cake which was brought to the table in perfect timing and then cut for us beautifully. A family favourite of ours! 'Adult family' favourite, I may add. I wouldn't say it was a 'young family restaurant' as such. More of an adult dining experience, especially perfect for special events. To me, it feels special without being pretentious. The staff have always been incredibly kind, friendly and helpful; wanting you to enjoy your time with them. Thank you again. “The rice is fragrant, the chicken is tender, and the butter chicken is creamy! The veggies are super flavourful and I like the tomato base My only gripe is the samosa- a bit too meaty but not enough flavour, otherwise it's overall a nice experience”

“What a gem of a place. This is one of the most authentic and pleasent Italian places I had the pleasure to eat at in a very long time. Let's say that if I lived in theare me and my girlfriend would most definitely weight a few more stones/Kgs. As well as the food it is cosy, attentive stuff, quick enough service (to not make you think they want you out of the door) definitely a must try.... Book of you can as space is limited.”

“Great little wine shop and bar with inside and outside seating. Wide choice of wines and other drinks in the bar as well as cheese/charcuterie platters. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff. Particularly recommend wine flight Wednesday: three small (70ml) glasses of wine for a reasonable price!”

“I recently held my 60th birthday celebrations at Llieno's. The room is a perfect size for a party up to 60 guests, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, in fact they went above and beyond in ensuring everything went to plan including decorating the room and ensuring a variety of different drinks were on offer to suit my guests. We also used the buffet provided by Llieno's which was good. I would not hesitate in 100% recommending this venue for a hassle free, wonderful event.”

“Located in the Hyatt Hotel and operated by them. You can choose from the bar and restaurant menu so a decent choice. Waiting staff were excellent, as was the food. With drinks, expect to pay at least 30 a head for a main and a drink. They add 12pct on top for service FYI. Did I say the food was delicious?”

“I moved to Didsbury with my friends and we decided to try the various options at the many restaurants. Here we found a warm welcome and a very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, the service is smooth and fast, and the staff was truly excellent. As for the food, the fillet steak with green peppercorns was superb, the seafood risotto was excellent, and the breaded cheese. “We ate in here this evening and it was the best Thai meal we’ve ever had. Went for the salt and pepper ribs and spring rolls to start. The meat on the ribs fell off the bone and the spring rolls were so fresh. The mains were stunning too, salt and pepper chicken with rice and crispy pork, along with the signature loaded fries (topped with chicken and steak slices and leathered in a lovely spicy mayo, barbecue sauce, fresh chillis and spring onion). It was enough to feed four, honestly the portions are huge. It’s a shame not more people were in, because this place is so nice and the price is reasonable for excellent and fresh food. The service is a little slow, but the lady waiting on was lovely and I suppose may have been helping out in the kitchen. The chef also came out when we were leaving to have a chat with us, who was really friendly and welcoming. Overall a lovely meal and will definitely go back.”
