“What a gem of a place. This is one of the most authentic and pleasent Italian places I had the pleasure to eat at in a very long time. Let's say that if I lived in theare me and my girlfriend would most definitely weight a few more stones/Kgs. As well as the food it is cosy, attentive stuff, quick enough service (to not make you think they want you out of the door) definitely a must try.... Book of you can as space is limited.”

“Honestly the best authentic Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to! A family run business bringing in flavours from home! Starters and mains were exquisite, the flavours were perfect. “I came to French Tacos at 03:00 in the morning after a long day of work and wanted a quick bite to eat before I headed off home to sleep. As I stepped foot into French Tacos, I was greeted by the 2 guys at the counter, as it was my first time I wasn’t sure what option to choose as there was so many delicious options to choose from the menu, so they helped me out and recommended I try a mixed meat wrap. Whilst waiting I was asked how my day was and had a great chat with the guys. The mixed wrap I had been recommended was really nice and delicious, I loved the potion size and the mixed meats inside the wrap it went so well especially with the cheese. It was perfect. Anyone new to this place or exploring it online for places to eat?, I completely recommend you try this place. Thank you lots to the owners.”

“Came here after reading reviews. We ordered wonton/ dumpling soup, Beef ho fun, salt and pepper tofu and mixed vegetables. The dumplings and wonton are huge in a well flavoured broth. The beef ho fun was nice. Loved the salt and pepper tofu. It was very light and crunchy. The ladies working there are very friendly and nice. A lot of Asians come here so you can tell it’s good food. Very extensive menu for a small eatery I would book at busier times. We came late afternoon. Next time will come earlier as they had already run out of roast duck and char Siu”

“I went to umezushi for my birthday meal with my closest friends. It definitely lived up to all of my expectations! Such a small & cosy place with truly phenomenal food, both in variety and in quality. We feasted on miso, handrolls, sashimi, sushi and desert... and I was blown away with every aspect. The staff were warm and knowledgeable which always helps. Definitely one to try for any sushi aficionados!”

“I just had to write a quick review for this place. Manchester based but well worth the travel. This was my first experience of Libyan foood and if this is anything to go by, I’m moving to Libya. Lamb soup, mini shwarma, Shakshuka, these amazing keema filled potatoes. It was all great. Spicier than I expected and reasonably priced. £11.50 for everything in the pics. “It's a small cafe so there isn't really an atmosphere. Feels unfair to score low on this though and I imagine there is an atmosphere in the warmer months. Service was great, the food was lovely. The tatseki is amazing. Yummy Yummy yummy”

Me and my other half come in here sometimes and I can say we are never disappointed. The lady and gentleman who own this place are very accommodating and so kind. “A wonderful pub with fantastic food. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The owners /staff are attentive and very welcoming. They have a great variety of beers, spirits and authentic Japanese sake and gins etc and also green tea, coffee for the non beer drinkers. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. I’ve taken a few friends and family here and they’re bowled over with the food. My Japanese friend have said it’s the best tempura she has had in the UK. Looking forward to the expansion to the beer garden in the back as well.”

It's literally a pleasant 5-minute stroll from there, and you'll work up just enough appetite for what's coming. Our waiter was an absolute legend - had us laughing while being completely on the ball with service. You know when someone's genuinely enjoying their job? That was this guy. Went for the tonno pizza (because who doesn't love a good tuna pizza?) paired with an alcohol-free Peroni - surprisingly decent! Couldn't resist the tiramisu to finish, and honestly, no regrets there whatsoever. The place itself is lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean, and the whole team clearly knows what they're doing. “Me and my friend love Chinese takeaway and we decided to try that place and honest to god it was so good. We had a create your own noodle box and honestly didn’t disappoint. My friend was so shocked and now every time I see her we always go there to eat. The service is amazing! You can watch them make the food and the drinks there are very cheap. Whenever I eat there I always walk out looking very happy. Best noodle & sushi place ever! If you’re a sushi or ramen/ noodle lover I would definitely recommend going there.
