Tonight ordered a delivery and it arrived (Just Eat) after a long 70 minutes wait. The curry was leaking from it's container and the poppadoms were burnt - not just overcooked but charred around their edges : and they thought it acceptable to send them to a customer. No”

“I recently won a competition for a free meal at Gonbay. I remember this place from years ago and how good it was. We visited on Saturday night and was pleased to say it hasn’t changed a bit! The staff were outstanding and so welcoming. The speed of the food to the table was exactly how I like it. Enough time between each course and not waiting forever. The food was fantastic. Chicken skewers in satay sauce and honey spare ribs to start, followed by sweet and sour chicken , chicken foo yung, egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips for mains. All had a great taste and flavour and we were well and truly stuffed at the end! Thank you all so much and we will certainly be back very soon!”

I'm also in love with the Old Delhi Style Butter chicken - the chicken is so tender and the sauce is absolutely addictive. Really soft and flavourful naan as well.”

“Take away delivery is very fast , food is cheap. It’s by far one of the tastiest chineses in Stockport. My go to is Crispy Chicken satay, fried rice, salt & pepper wings and salt and pepper chips - usually around £20. Enough to feed 2 easily and 3.”

“Just received an Uber eats delivery! First time trying and wow, honestly stunned as to how fresh, tasty, authentic and delicious this whole meal was. I rarely order Chinese any more as it’s so hit and miss. But the salt and pepper ribs (without batter) were just unreal, meat falling off the bone, super tasty sautéed veg, you can tell they’ve put a lot of love into every dish here and as a fellow chef I really appreciate it! Feels worth the spend, ten fold when the quality is this high. Sweet and sour chicken was just 10/10, really lean crispy chicken pieces, thick high quality sauce, salt and pepper chips, again really tasty, spicy and fresh. Everything perfectly seasoned too! “Tried Lamb Curry here for the first time, came back next day to get some more to let my mum have a taste. Honestly the place could do with a bit of investment to tidy it up, but the lamb curry was just superb. Enough to justify the premium price! The old fella there asked mt my name so he could remember me in the future. Now i live in Bury and this place in in Levenshulme/Longsite area so a bit of a trek but deffo worth it.”

“Very good place, I would personally come back again. The price is cheap in my opinion comparing to other similar Chinese restaurant nearby. If you like Peking duck, this is the right place, but make sue you give this restaurant a call to check if there are any ducks left. Lastly, toilet is super clean, which is a bonus for me.”
