“Food was SO good. Came with a friend, we were both craving Ethiopian, got the spicy doro wat and the mild lamb, and both were incredible. We practically licked the plates clean. The injera was clearly fresh and wonderfully spongy, lamb was very tender and doro wat is one of the best I’ve had outside Ethiopia. Food is reasonably priced, portions are generous, the decor is homely and our waiters were super friendly, will definitely drop by again next time!! :)”

“The Malaysian restaurant to go in Manchester region. Great variety of Malaysian food available with good portion. Starters wise the satay, rojak and roti canai with curry is pretty good although the price for the satay is a little on the higher side. Mee Goreng and Nasi Lemak both are pretty good main options. Good variety of Malaysian drinks available as well. If looking for Malaysian restaurant in Manchester this would be their one to go. Limited parking outside. Sometimes can get a little busy during weekends so might need to book prior but otherwise seats are usually available. Waiting time varies with crowd.”

“Had a great meal at Street Food. The service was friendly and fast. I had the beef teriyaki with noodles — really flavourful and well cooked. The Hong Kong–style food was delicious, and the iced coffee was amazing too. Definitely recommend!”

“Absolutely delicious! My Wife and I went for our anniversary dinner on Monday. The gentleman serving us was extremely attentive and friendly and always around for anything we needed. “Excellent friendly welcome, the owner took our order. We had to wait for our starters which meant they were freshly prepared (the restaurant was quiet with it being during the week), some restaurants just warm up the starters but not here! We really enjoyed our starters. The main courses arrived & were excellent! Also desserts were good and we ate everything. My wife enjoyed her wine and I had an excellent ice cold pint of water!(I was driving). Top marks for everything here. They are very child friendly too. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the owner was too! We will be back!”

“Delicious meal. I had the tandoori lamb shank, on the recommendation of the waiter - the meat just fell off the bone and was served with a very flavoursome gravy/curry. It was lovely to try something different / enjoy tandoori cooked meat alongside a sauce. “Best sandwich shop in South Manchester by a mile, have been coming here for well over 10 years. Lynn and the team are fantastic, always happy to see you. The food is outstanding and exceptionaly good value. I HIGHLY reccomend a Shark Special with bacon, although I've tried nearly all the menu over the years and there is not a single item I didn't enjoy. Do call ahead for quick pickup, it is busy between 11.30-2.”

“Lit up from the outside this venue is very welcoming. Soft ambient lighting indoors always gives a romantic feel drawing you to go inside. Also the promise of 2 for 1 cocktails might have something to do with it. I have eaten here a few times now and it lived up to expectations in every way. Inside the lighting does seem quite dim but adds to the atmosphere and the decor is rustic Caribbean and this makes you imagine you are in a different country. Everything is brightly coloured and fun. I have been fortunate enough never to have to book in advance but have seen it both very busy and also quite at other times. The table sauces look scary hot but do compliment the food incredibly. Even the toilets represent a beach hut feel. Food has never been fast to come out no matter how busy it is but worth the wait when it does. Also Jamaican Red Stripe lager on tap for as true Caribbean feel. Did I mention the cocktails. Food wise I have tried the Jerk chicken breast and half Jerk chicken. Both made with ghost chilli pepper sauce. Yes it's hot but you can still taste the flavours. Looking forward to my next visit.”
