“We have only ever had the take aways when we want to treat ourselves. We have lived in Saddleworth almost 8 years now and we have really struggled to find a decent Indian restaurant, it has always been hit and miss. There was never any consistency, sometimes good, sometimes bad…HOWEVER I think this is by far our favourite place! We keep going back! The poppadoms are always amazing, every single time, not full of oil and greasy tasting, their Lime Pickle is gorgeous and the food is delicious. The lamb chops are a favourite and you can tell there is no cheat, they have been properly marinating in the delicious spices. The tandoori spices must be a family secret, to die for. Most definitely recommend if you want a genuine taste of India. And it is a plus there is minimal plastic waste:)”

The food is always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, truly authentic Turkish cuisine done to perfection. As someone with celiac disease, finding a restaurant that can cater safely and confidently to my dietary needs is rare, but the team here went above and beyond. They were knowledgeable, careful, and made me feel completely at ease. I left with a full and very happy tummy, which says it all! The service is consistently 10 out of 10 warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The fact that the restaurant is also kid-friendly made our experience even better, allowing the whole family to relax and enjoy together. “I highly recommend this place for those who eat vegetarian or vegan. The food is delicious, especially the masala dosa, chana masala and poppadoms, and chutney tray. Also, the dessert carrot halwa with ice cream. The staff were friendly, and the dining area as well as the deli area was very impressive. I would come to visit again soon.”

“All the food is very delicious and tasty. We like kubaidah and Naan and qabli Palau. The meat is very tender juicy and delicious. The atmosphere is cool here. It's not a big restaurant so it's always full or even fully booked. You need to book it in advance to secure the table here.”

“Just a first class restaurant with great food, a good selection of drinks, and very friendly staff. I came over from Ireland to visit family and we always go the the Prachee at least once per visit. I've eaten Indian food all my life and this rates right up there with the best. And the prices are very reasonable. I know I mentioned the friendly staff, but I'll do it again because they are. I do a lot of reviews and I normally like to take some pictures and include them. For some reason every time I visit the Prachee I forget to wait for photos and just start eating straight away. The food is that good.”

“Wow, this place is amazing! This is the first time my partner (Kieran) and I have ordered from here, and it most certainly won't be the last. The chicken in the korma was beautiful - so tender with absolutely no fatty bits. My partner said the same about his lamb too. The authentic pilau rice.. the garlic and coriander naan which was so garlicky... the heavenly salt and pepper chips - everything was quite simply PERFECT. They even gave us some free tikka bites, along with a lovely handwritten message welcoming us to the place. The delivery guy was so friendly too. I simply can't fault this place - and that's coming from someone who can be quite picky. All that's left to say now, is THANK YOU!”

“Visited here today and had a great meal. The Gurkha beer is really nice, I told myself I'd only have one as they're 660ml but I ended up having 2 as they were so good. Ended up having the mixed main as a starter but if I went again I'd just have several portions of the lamb chops, the rest of the meat was very nice (quite spicy for anyone worried about spice) but the lamb chops were amazing. Had the duck masala main and the lamb Gurkha curry, would highly recommend the Gurkha Curry it was fantastic, the duck was nice it's different than most Curries so if you want something more aromatic it's something to try. Bread was nice, poppadoms nice and the chutneys were good too. Between 2 of us spent £77 but had separate sides, rice's and effectively 3 main courses and a couple of beers/soft drinks so I'd say it was good value for the quality and quantity of meat. Give it a try, you won't regret it.”
